I rented a car through Alamo rental a car at the Orlando airport last August.  A few months later in January I received a notice in the mail saying I had a toll violation .  The toll violation was $1.25 and their fee for handling it was $10.00.  I called the number on the letter as I did not run any tolls.  The lady said its all automatic we pay the toll and charge you.  I explained that I did not run any tolls and asked who I could talk to.  She gave me the number to Florida Highway.  I called them and they asked for the plate number and time of violation. I gave that to them and they said that the plate number had not received a toll violation on the date in the letter or at any time.

I called back to Alamo they said they would look into it and get it straightened out.  Two weeks later I get another letter "second request for the money" I called again and explained to the girl the whole story.  She said she would check it out and have some one call me. Guess what I got the other day another request for the money but never a call back from someone who has the authority to spend $11.25 to fix the problem. I called again this Monday they told me they would call by Tuesday it is now Wednesday and no call.  My letter should be here in about a week. I will never rent from Alamo again.  If you receive a letter about a toll you didn't run don't bother calling they will never return your call or emails.
