Alan Gandolfi - Joel Silverman SCAMMED by individuals into buying a car that didn't exist! San Jose California
I responded to a ad in the craigslist auto section in the Seattle/Tacoma area regarding a 1999 A6 Audi Avant for sale for 2,500 with 85,795 miles on it, silver with black interior, that was located in a ebay warehouse in San Jose, CA, according to the seller, Alan Gandolfi. He mentioned that his agent "Joel Silverman" a ebay agent was taking care of the transaction by purchasing the car through ebay to be secured. The money was to be sent by moneygram to Joel Silverman in San Jose, CA. I sent the money, ebay supposedly sent a confirmation regarding the transaction, as well as Alan Gandolfi, and once they received the money, they quite responding through e-mail. They simply disappeared!
