I'm a former employee of Alaskan Home Services. I interviewed with a woman by the name of Danielle Coffey for an administrative position in the front office. The next day, I was contacted by a man named David, who I later found out is the supervisor of the telemarketing department. He told me that they'd like to offer me a position, but asked if I'd be willing to start off working in the telemarketing department first. I agreed, because I thought this company would give me an opportunity for growth. Several weeks went by, and they kept giving me the run around about when I'd be able to transition to the front office. Alaskan Home Services has a plumber by the name of 'Steve'. One of my job duties consisted of contacting PMA customer's and scheduling plumbing tune-up's, when I was not doing outbound calling. He called me directly on our office-line one day and told me that he is a very successful businessman. He also said that he realized Danielle is the one who had hired me, but in all reality I work for him. He told me that it was very important that I trust him and do as he says. Later that day, he contacted me again on our office line. He asked if I could please give him a call on my PERSONAL phone, because there are conversations him and I need to have that can not be had on the company phone. His reasoning for this was because all telephone calls are recorded by the owner. I felt extremely uncomfortable and uneasy about this. I am a young woman, and I felt it was completely inappropriate that a plumber/technician would ask me to call him from my cell phone. As soon as I get off the phone, I ask if I can speak with my manager in private (Danielle). We went outside, and I explained to her what had just happened. She told me that I definitely did not have to give Steve my personal number, and to tell him that I have a prepaid cell phone and I don't currently have minutes. I did as I was told. Steve then asks me what cell phone provider I have, and offers to buy minutes on my cell phone if it means him and I get to talk privately and off the record. I then go to Danielle again. She tells me she will take care of it. I continued to do work for Steve, but he never spoke with me directly again, nor did he ever apologize for making me feel so uncomfortable. Not only do I feel this was extremely out of line on his part, but my manager handled it very poorly by asking of me, to tell a lie to this man. Shortly there after, I became very ill and had to take some time off of work. I went to the emergency room because I do not have insurance. I brought it all my documentation from the ER, and they still ended up letting me go. This company is full of crude, dishonest, and disgusting salesmen. They treat customer's and employee's horribly.

I am a employee of Alaskan Home Services and personally worked with this girl Stephanie Storm.  She is a disgruntled employee.

She QUIT this job after she was moved to another department for not performing her job correctly. She was not fired like Stephanie Storm alleges. This company treats me well and treats its customers well too or it would not be in business for over 37 years.  I love working here and just thought i would post the truth of what happened with Stephanie Storm.
