All,

Last weeks scorecard is attached. Congratulations to 2228, 2714, 2756, and 4164 for having no overtime!

I'd like to point out one store in particular this week. Store 4002 run by Max Campbell in Round Rock, TX. Over the last 4 weeks, Max has hired 21 new associates that are averaging 19.62 hours per week. It's safe to assume all if not most of these associates are part time. As such, Max's weekly FT % is 37.5% while the number of associates with benefits stands at 27.27%! This is amazing, and exactly the type of performance that has propelled 4002 into the top 10 in the division in FT%,
Benefits%, and AHR. Congrats Max!

If you're asking yourself "what can I do to make it to the top", here are some steps you can follow to see immediate results:

* HIRE PART TIMERS! - I can't stress this enough; that by bring in more associates, at the correct pay rate will cure most of your labor concerns. More bodies=More productivity=More $$ for Albertsons!
* Control your overtime, don't let it control you - FT% is up 3% over the last 2 weeks and overtime is the culprit which is up 5 hours per store. Simply put, if you're in the bottom 20 in overtime you can't
afford not to hire! In every situation, you would have paid less by having a new hire work those hours.

Remember, in 88% of the division, you are seeing a savings in your weekly labor $$ due to the restructuring. Let's make sure we're capturing those savings and let's make a push these last 2 weeks of the
quarter to make/exceed our labor targets.
