Albertsons Ripoff discriminates Boise Idaho
Albertsons has the money to continue buying other companies, but can't compensate employees in stores that are closing with a severance package unless they are in top management positions or higher, irregarless of how much time the employee has worked for them. (I have been with them for 19! years).
I was told that I shouldn't feel like I've worked for nothing, after all, I have been given the opportunity to apply with the company that is buying my store. (Thank you for making that decision for me).
As it stands,
1. I worked for that company 20 years ago. I left them for Albertons. If I had wanted to work for that company, I never would have left them.
2. That company doesn't pay as much.
I am very disappointed in the corporate greed that has taken over this company that they cannot give severance packages to all employees of the stores that are closing and/or are being bought by other companies.
