I was in Albertsons months ago and saw their coolers in the refrigerated section were not working. The temperature gauge read 72 degrees. All the meat, cheese, yogurt, eggs, everything was over 70 degrees and spoiling. I immediately went to get a manager and reported this to them and told them they needed to remove these items off the shelf as someone would get sick. This was at night. The next morning I went back in the store to check and everything was still there. They did not remove a single item and were selling it to unsuspecting consumers. That same store I had bought chicken on sale for 99 cents a package before this incident and everyone who ate it was vomiting for 4 days. I say avoid this store if you value your health!

Karen, did you call your local Health Department?
If meat was involved, I would imagine you could also call your states agriculture office and the USDA. Another avenue would be to call a local news station that has a "troubleshooter" or one that loves to do a lot of investigate reports. I have seen several reports over the past few months about the convenience store foods that are premade and delivered that are in unrefrgerated trucks and how dangerous the meat could be as well as some that just repackage the foods to resell after their exp date. News Stations love dirt like this.
