Alco Discount Store Chino Valley Arizona I returned a quilted shirt/coat to store on 4/14/10 I had bought it for my husband for Christmas. He recieved 2. Total for coat was 25.00 plus taxes. We I took it back I told them that I would pick ou Chino Valley, Arizona
Returned a quilted coat I had purchased for Christmas, he had recieved 2. Purchase price was $25.00. I told the cashier I would pick out something of the same value. We returned with 3 shirts. Value was the same as coat. They would not give us full value of our purchase. We got ripped off for 30% of the value. I know this is not a large purchase, but I have witnessed other people trying to exchange things there and it is always a hassle and the managers are not very nice. I am just another American who is tired of taking it in the shorts!

Buy one get one free

Every couple of weeks they have a buy one get one free sale at this store Alco. I read the sign and picked out a pair of pants and a pair of capri's. As I went through the check out line my bill was around $48.00. I pointed out that I was participating in the buy one get one free.
Cashier again very rude cashier's at this store. Rolled her eyes and said "do you see the *"? I said yes she stated that meant buy one get one half off. No were near the sign does it say this. I walked back and looked, and explained that this sign is very misleading to people. She stated that "everyone knows" that the * means buy one get one for half price. Well, I did not, and I shop there all the time, only because the next stores of this kind is 25 miles from were I live. This is false advertising and needs to be made perfectly clear before you reach the counter!.
Will send photo with next update.
