Complaint Review: Aldebaran Infotech LLC

Obviously a network of supposed technical support people in different cities, most probably working from their bedroom. These on-line consultants do not have the ability to deal with anything related to the computer hardware if that is where the answer is.  They simply sign into the computer and try to find an on-line solution, and this bunch then charge $349 for supposedly a lifetime firewall to protect a network against hacking.  BUT the guarantee is not in writing and there is no guarantee they will be in business next month. In this case a 72 year old housewife figured out that an inexpensive piece of hardware would eliminate the problem.  And it did.

There was a whole production about the customer writing them a check, putting it in an envelope, and Fed Ex coming to the door to pick it up.  I suppose that may eliminate mail fraud and all the protections if a credit card is accepted.
