The People vs George Lucas WHAT A SCAM!!!!! This is plain and simple, while creative this movie may be , I personally think it is a scam A classic case of somebody trying to get famous off of what other people make and do.

If George Lucas won't stick up for himself then I will, This documentary is a complete rip-off and is a last ditch effort by Alexander and Robert Muratore to become famous for something they did not make. If there is controversy, then let George Lucas deal with it. He owns Starwars and everyone knows that. In the words of Vader "There is no Conflict".  Come up with your own characters for your own claymations , Stop ripping of Georges for them!!!

You people are just doing this to spin off him and get your Name out. What losers. Your doc not only sucks but its ripped off and not of you all's own making!!!!

Your a disgrace to the Starwar's community for trying to make money off of something that's not yours. You people make me sick!

Why don't you guys do it like everyone and come up with something original a make a movie.

I am gonna send a email to all distributors, film festivals, and documentary festivals and publicist that I know to shut this s**t down and accept original creative documentary work. Not content that someones made to spin off someone else to try to make money!

YOU PEOPLE ARE LOSERS AND EVERYONE WILL NO IT !!!!!!!!!!

DO NOT WATCH BUT DISTRIBUTE OR DEAL WITH THE PEOPLE FROM

THE PEOPLE VS GEORGE LUCAS !!!!!!

The only people who saw this doc are hard core star-wars fans, the doc completely sucked ! These people need to stop riding what ever wave comes by to make a doc about. WHAT A WAST OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!!!

Now they are making "DOC OF THE DEAD" what a f****** wast, ok zombies are popular now so lets make a DOC about zombies , Why don't you people come up with something original instead of remaking controversial doc's to make a buck off people.

Why don't you people come up with something NEW LIKE THE REST OF US FILM MAKERS !!! Yes I'm black listing these mother f****** from every festival, party and event I can till they make something completely new , I suggest others due the same.

DOC OF THE DEAD WILL BE DEAD before it gets started, NO ONE SUPPORT these types of film makers, its disgusting.

I purchased this movie on Amazon when it became available, because I am a huge fan of all things Star Wars, and because, well... it looked interesting. I couldn't disagree with this post more, in fact (MINOR SPOILER ALERT) the film closes with people expressing their love for George Lucas.

The film was made by fans, for fans. It's certainly not for everybody, I don't think my parents would dig it, for example. It helps to have grown up with the original trilogy, and to have a deep interest in the man and mind behind the films. The film explores and investigates why so many fans love to hate George, and focuses mainly on the prequels. The film asks what made the original trilogy great, and what has changed between the first 3 films and the lastest batch.

I was delighted to learn about the variety of opinions as to whether or not an original artist has the right to continually modify his or her work. If the artist chooses to do so, should the original (you know, the one we grew up with)  ALSO be made available to the public. These issues are explored deeply and kicked around by fans, critics and professionals.

I enjoyed getting different perspectives on the matter, and was VERY interested to hear what George himself had to say to congress about the very matter. I won't spoil that for the people who are going to actually watch the film, which in my opinion, they should- if they love Star Wars! :)

I'm puzzled, and trying to wrap my mind why somebody would prepare such a venomous review of a movie? I felt like I was reading a review for "Triumph of the Will" or something. Good greif. Which, by the way, was inspiration for the final scene in Star Wars, where our heros are presented with medals from the lovely Princess Princess Leia Organa! See, you learned a fun fact. Thanks for reading my reply!
