On November 15,2006 I purchased and paid for, Fine size glitter from Alexis Breslaw from her online eBay store dba Countrycandlescottage. After a long wait, I received a package with the wrong item. I emailed her, and she said to put it back into the same box it came in and ship it back. I did that immediately the next day.
When I did not recieve the glitter I ordered by Christmas, I emailed Alexis and asked that she refund my money. She flatly refused. She also said she would not send my glitter. She is deceptive, NOT reputable, and if you purchase from her, you will be taking your chances on if you will get your items. She has been such a headache to deal with.

I filed a report thru paypal, but I never did one before because I never had problems with any other sellers. I didn't do it properly and they ruled in her favor. She provided the tracking number for the package that contained the wrong item. That was the package I sent back to her. So she kept my money, and never sent the glitter I ordered.

Alexis Breslaw's eBay feedbacks are filled with Negatives and neutrals. When I left her a much deserved negative feedback, she retaliated. Terrible customer service, terrible business practices.

If there is any email contact, she ends it with "have a blessed day", but she is clearly non Christian (or she is a Christian who lies, cheats and steals). What good does it do to say, "have a blessed day" when you are stabbing someone in the back?

#2Consumer Suggestion

Sun, February 18, 2007

In the future, it is advisable to check out someone whom I am interested in conducting business with; use this forum to see if there are any complaints filed against these individuals. Yes, there was a complaint filed against Alexis Breslaw in 2003 for selling on eBay and never shipping the merchandise. It looks like Alexis is still practicing bad habits to become the next eBay Power Seller by fraudulently ripping off her customers.

My suggestion is to follow the advice of Ed in the Rip Off Revenge guide by filing a consumer protection complaint with the Attorney General in your state and in Miami Florida where this deceitful person lives. It is not a bad idea to contact the State Banking Commission with a formal complaint regarding e-commerce fraud, if an unscrupulous individual has defrauded you; it actually worked for me after five months of excuses from another eBay member, this is well past the 45 days allowed by PayPal.

In late November, I too had a similar experience with this individual selling craft supplies on eBay. My opinion is that the items for sale were not even in her current inventory. I have a firm belief that her merchandise had to be ordered in to meet the demands of current sales and fulfill her orders; this is why it takes three to four weeks to get your package when Priority Mail only takes 2-3 days for delivery.

This person contacted me to agree to have negative feedback removed, but this undermines the whole eBay feedback system. If all the bad feedback is removed to improve a seller's reputation, what good is it to post negative feedback in the first place? I refused to respond to her query after she lied to PayPal In regard to my order and the voluntary purchase of postal insurance during the holidays; she is only interested in making a fast buck at the expense of others.
