So here's the deal, I began working with ALL ABOUT HONEYMOONS about 9 months ago. I was told by Rick Grossman, the Franchise coordinator that I could make very good money doing this from home. I am a stay at home mom, my daughter is 5 and my son is 3 and a half. They began schooling about a year ago, that was about the time I began looking into a business for myself at home. Rick went over all the info with me, and sent me a few videos via email to watch. Looked amazing, a nice presentation. I bought into it hook line and sinker. And since Rick told me there was low overhead, I really bought in. My husband was against the initial $20,000+ investment, I went along with it anyway, put a good portion of our savings down, and began the slow road to nowhere!

Once I signed on, I was then told what I need for my office, 2 phone lines, a fax line, a fax machine, and business cards, etc Another $3500

I didn't know a whole lot about the travel industry, but I planned out my best friends honeymoon, so what the heck. And Rick told me that they would provide me with ready clients.

Well the leads I received were cold calls. These people did not want to talk to me, and did not want the overpriced ideas that I/ ALL ABOUT HONEYMOONS had for them. I closed 2 deals in the 9 months. Spent about $9000 extra money. It was sad, my hubby was supportive for a while, but it was hard on all of us, to see the money dwindle to almost nothing.

Rick told me that this business is so relaxing and excitingHAit was the total opposite. I was stressed almost all the time. My marriage is suffering, the kids are suffering, no one is happy. I put some of the blame on myself for buying that garbage, but a bottom feeder like Rick should take the rest of the blame. Stealing people's savings. I did not believe people like this were out there. I tried to get my money back, and nothing. I was told they don't do that, and that is that. So now, I am looking for a full time job to make the wasted $ back!

Thanks Rick. thanks Greg Strobach, president of this BS company, you run a great scam, you got me good. .and Clay Gibbons (clay@allabouthoneymoons.com), he is the director of franchises, I spoke to him for some support. He gave me NOTHING. No help. Seemed like he had NO CLUE about the travel industry.

Their # is 1 (888) 845-4488, if you have been scammed like I have, call and complain, lets get these people!

The All About Honeymoons Rip-off Allegations are lies from an unknown source.

The All About Honeymoons Rip-off Allegations are lies from an unknown source.

In the interest of the employees, franchise owners and clients of All About Honeymoons, this report must be disregarded, or better yet removed.

Because the accuser will not and has not identified him or herself, there is no way to confirm his or her story, but anyone interested in or related to All About Honeymoons needs only call our company to uncover the facts of our high quality business and the credibility of the owners.

To refute the lies in this posting, one by one:

1. I have been involved with AAH for nine months.
We have been opening franchises since April 04. We did not have any franchises nine months ago.

2. I was told by Rick Grossmann, the Franchise coordinator that I could make very good money doing this from home.

As anyone who has looked into a franchise knows, a company selling franchise opportunities is prohibited by law from making earnings claims. Rick Grossmann would not and has never made earning claims to a franchise prospect.

3. My husband was against the initial $20,000+ investment, & Once I signed on, I was then told what I need for my office, 2 phone lines, a fax line, a fax machine, and business cards another $3500."

The initial franchise sales price in May 2004 would not have exceeded $12000. The Franchise Offering Circular clearly states the additional investment outside of the franchise fee as well as the royalty. Anyone looking into a franchise would have 15 days to review this document to understand the costs. As stated in the Franchise Circular all expeditures are clearly disclosed.

4. Well the leads I received were cold calls. These people did not want to talk to me,...

All About Honeymoons does not send leads to the Franchise Owners. People who express genereal interest or appear to be prospective customers (commonly known as leads) are sent email and postal mail marketing pieces by the corporate office which ask that the prospects go to the All About Honeymoons web site and enter a profile. These profiles are then sent to the Franchise Owners receive pre-qualified contact information for a prospect who requested that they be contacted. These prospects (not leads) are far from cold, every single one is planning a honeymoon.

4. These people ... did not want the overpriced ideas that I/ ALL ABOUT HONEYMOONS had for them.

All products offered by All About Honeymoons are those travel packages and trips offered by big name travel wholesalers. Anyone working in the travel industry will testify that the products offered through these reputable companies are offered at the same price whether from an All About Honeymoons travel professional or the travel agency in the Mall. They would never be over priced product.

5. I tried to get my money back, and nothing. I was told they don't do that, and that is that.

First of all, we at All About Honeymoons are astounded that this posting exists. We are confident that the person posting these false accusations does not really exist but that we are a victim of attack from a competitor or deranged web attacker. A person lodging a legitimate complaint would have identified him or herself.

All About Honeymoons is not a fit for every person looking for a business opportunity and occasionally someone finds that it is not a fit for his or her business goals. We have a policy to address these issues to an amicable solution for all parties. All About Honeymoons has not had and does not currently have an outstanding conflict with a franchisee that is not being resolved in this manner.

6. Signature: Stupid
NYC, New York
U.S.A.

We have not yet completed filing in the state of New York and have never had a Franchise Owner in NY or NYC.

For anyone looking for a business opportunity in the Travel and Wedding industries, All About Honeymoons offers an excellent opportunity and we encourage anyone interested to find out for yourself and disregard this erroneous and unsupported posting.

For anyone considering All About Honeymoons for your special honeymoon or resort wedding, you will find that our Travel Consultants are outstanding partners in planning your once in a lifetime trip!

Hey Clay where is my money??!?!?!?! All I want is half my $20,000 investment back and I cannot even get a phone call from these bas***ds!!! I was led down the garden path by Clay. These guys know how to tune into what gets you and just work that. When I seemed hesitant to sign on he promised me all the things I was worried about clients, start-up costs.

Oh we'll give you clients. Aside from the $20,000 there are no additional start-up costs. Then when I start and I have to make a ton of cold calls, something I specifically said I didn't want to do!!! Then to also have to pay an additional $1000 getting the home office all in order. "Oh well some prices have gone up, there didn't used to be any additional costs" clay told me when I complained.

Then to work this business for about 7 months and to only have booked two clients, one of whom wants their money back because they found everything I sold them much cheaper.

I've been trying for three months to get a partial refund but these guys never return calls or e-mails. (888) 845-4488 the number may as well be unlisted because having it doesn't help me at all.
