All About Wireless / Bluetoothdirect.com Invalid Tracking Number - No product shipped - Rude & Threatening CSR Internet Pennsylvania
I ordered a bluetooth headset from this company on 3/21/04, and paid extra for 2nd day air. The order was placed via their website, bluetoothdirect.com. Subsequently I received confirmation of the order and a UPS tracking number. On 3/24 when the order did not arrive I checked the tracking number with UPS, the number came back invalid. I emailed bluetooth's customer service and asked for an explanation. The first response was "Contat(sic) the shipping carrier for help, your item is with them."
I contacted UPS and was told that they never scanned a package, it was for billing purposes only. A second email from them read, "Your item did not ship, it is sold out. As indicated in the email sent to you 2 days ago, we need to know if you wish the item to be cancelled? We will have more in tomorrow."
There was never an earlier email advising that the item was sold out, only one providing order and shipping confirmation.
I waited two more days since they indicated they would have more the following day. The tracking number still came back invalid. I emailed them again, asking the status of the order and no response. On 3/30 I advised them that due to their non response I would be disputing the charge with the credit card company. Instantly they responded with threats of legal action, still no mention of my order.
My bank gave me an 800 number that was submitted with the charge, that number is disconnected.
A Google search on this company returned numerous hits outling many other victims of their unscrupulous business practices.
Bottomline is, these guys are not to be trusted.
