Lessons Learned Being Rip-offed by All Aspects Waterproofing (AAW) based on several facts.

On AAW website there is a symbol of NAWSRC (=National Association for Waterproofing and Structural Repair Contractors), but AAW is not licensed by NAWSRC.  There are several requirements and standards to be licensed by NAWSRC. That's big different. This is the first questionable fact: What is the purpose of putting NAWSRC symbol on AAW website if AAW is not licensed? To fool prospective customers?

Putting NAWSRC symbol on website would mean that the company should past the test and know about basement water proofing, foundation, concrete and structural problems, but from several facts: AAW tech doesn't sound like it at all. In fact, AAW system has not been successful in dealing with water proofing, foundation, concrete and structural problems. AAW cannot prove nor guarantee the success of their own system in solving waterproofing problems.

For example, AAW will install corner folded plastic in the corner of your basement floor and wall to prevent dripping water from the wall to the floor. But in most cases as we tested, the plastic was broken when being folded during installation. And in other places, the plastic was not properly nor continuously installed. So when the water penetrate your wall from outside, the water will penetrate the broken parts of the plastic or through the parts where the plastic guards were not installed to the floor. It is a fail solution.

In other places, the water pop out from the pipe under the slab installed by AAW. So instead of solving the problem AAW work creates new problems

Therefore, not only AAW work sometimes does not solve your problems but it can create more problems to your basement. Be careful.

AAW contract is usually hand written and difficult to read, very unprofessional or maybe on purpose, like other ripoff tricks.

You can buy the same pump installed by AAW at other places with much cheaper price and cheaper installation charge. AAAW charge / cost is outrageously more expensive compared to other contractors' fee.

AAW techs / personnels usually do not have any patient in listening client's problems. Instead of listening or solving the client's requests, AAW tech will usually blame and look for the weakness of the clients.

Keep in mind, when you call a home improvement contractor, the goal is to fix the problem. If the problem is not solved, it means that the contractor has failed in responding to what they were asked in the first place. There are several facts about this condition with AAW.

In the beginning of your conversation with the AAW sales person or representative, he would guarantee that your basement will dry. But that condition never been written in your contract. That's why, when after the work is done and your basement is still wet, AAW can run away with your money.

AAW tech didn't properly diagnose the problems. AAW creates a work which looks like solving your problems, but in reality their work has nothing to do with solving your original problems. Then when you complaint about the original problem which is still there, AAW will point out to the contract that says nothing about the problems. Here is their evil trick: since the problems were not noted in the contract sheet, AAW think they can get away from their resposilibity in solving the problems. You will pay them for nothing. This is a ripoff.

AAW contract never mentions the original problems, only the scope of work. You are in contract with AAW to do the work which might not solve the problems. Guarranty in solving the problem has never been mentioned in AAW contract. The tricky part done by AAW is when the client complaints that the original problem is still there, AAW will refuse to fix it since as written in the contract: AAW is not assigned to solve the problem only to install the pipe and pump, for example. Whether the drain pipe and pump solving the problem is not AAW responsibility. Pretty sneaky heh?

AAW contract indicates a life warantee and transferrable to subsequent purchaser at no extra cost, but in reality when problems come they will charge you an addition outrages charge / cost just to come to the site and look at the problems caused by their own work. Another lie by AAW.

AAW contract lists all the good warantees, but look carefully at those lousy checks by hand which do not check all the good warantees. So even all the good warantees are listed in the contract doesn't mean that you  are in the good hand. Instead, you are dealing with tricky situation created by AAW contract.

AAW system is bringing water into your basement and then pump it out to outside. This is not the solution in waterproofing your basement.

Being a  member of Better Business Biro (BBB) doesn't guarantee qualifed work. There is no test or work standard to become a member of BBB. Any company can be a member of BBB by just paying the money.

Don't waste your time and money hiring All Aspects Waterproofing. Lessons learned and facts are here.

If you have been a victim and cannot do anything about it, don't worry. Money comes and goes. This type of company will not survive long enough by ripping off clients' money. They can only do so much. There is karma in this world. What they sow is what they reap. Maybe they can take your money now but then they will have to face the consequenses at the end of their life or maybe sooner. They can cover up the ripoff but they cannot make them right in the face of God.

Remember, the world has proven true that any evil doings in the world will be revealed and judged soon or later, like or not. And there is a judgement day either on earth or hell. Be ready, that's a fact.
