All Fields of Concrete Michael Fitzgerald Unreliable, no-show, shoddy work, high prices Chicago, Illinois
We called Michael Fitzgerald, owner and operator of All Fields of
Concrete in Archer Heights (Chicago) to re-pave our worn out driveway.
Fitzgerald said he would come around 2PM to give an estimate. He never
showed. We gave him another chance and he finally came a few days later -
3 hours late and reeking of whiskey. He shot a low bid so we thought
what the heck.
The guy came and removed our old asphalt driveway,
then didn't return. Meanwhile, we had to deal with a sea of mud where
the old driveway had been. After calling All Fields of Concrete several
times and leaving numerous messages, we finally got the guy to come back
and finish the work. 3 weeks after he said it would be done, they
FINALLY completed our driveway. What a butcher job they did. The lack of
quality and workmanship is shocking. And the cost went through the roof
- way above the estimate given. Their contracts have a hidden
"escalation clause." Ouch.
The driveway is sloped incorrectly and
water runs back into our garage. Except the part where the water lays
in pools in the middle of it. The driveway looks like a roller coaster.
The neighborhood skateboarders use it as a half-pipe. Cracks are already
forming in the crappy concrete.
We have tried to contact All
Fields of Construction, but the Fitzgerald obviously has caller ID and
dodges our calls. We sent a certified letter but have not heard back. We
may end up suing this quack. I understand there are other lawsuits
involving All Fields of Concrete in Chicagoland.
Avoid this
crooked outfit at all cost. Don't be taken in by the fraudulent tactics
of All Fields Construction.

Mr. Fitzgerald, I am truly sorry that you are offended by my factual-based post. I tried to relay the facts as clearly, accurately and responsibly as I could.
That being said, your display of righteous indignation does not cover the fact that you and your company are as crooked as a three dollar bill. Instead of feigning outrage, perhaps you should redirect your energy into becoming a better and more forthright businessman. It's time for you to man up.
The more you lash out at your critics, the bigger the target you make yourself. You are becoming a laughingstock, with reports of your meritless litigation drawing yuks all around the world.

I am the Owner of All Fields of Concrete. This is completely made up. I demand that you take this reveiw down. I demand that you use due dilegence in contacting the person that wrote it and demand that they provide verification by sending you a copy of the contract, permit number, cancelled checks or credit card statements. Any of and all which they would have any of this story was true.

The Better Business Bureau keeps the records for three years on there website of all companies. You will see that All Fields of Concrete Construction have Zero Complaints in the last 36 Months. We Consistantly get complaint free Awards from the Better Business Bureau.
The anonymous writer of this reveiw is abusing this website to harass & libel my company. We have never done a driveway in Evanston,IL. Please take down this false & severly damageing review on my company.
