Complaint Review: All Points Accommodations

All Points Accommodations As members to APA, I requested reservations for Myrtle Beach, SC to accommodate 6. On the form I wrote "prefer oceanfront, washer/dryer & elevator. Seminole Florida

After submitting my request for reservations and money within the required time-90 days (March ) it was mid May when I finally heard from APA. They had confirmed reservations 10 miles from the beach. How could this be oceanfront? I contacted them saying this was unacceptable. Their reply was that was all that was available in that area. They would try to re-sell the vacation and if so, credit my account for further travel requests. I believe, after getting our money, the cared less if we traveled or not! I have read other reports against this business and seems as if they are making a get a way with individuals money.

If they expect to stay in business, they should try harder to accommodate individuals with their requests. Not with what they want them to have.

APA fulfills 99% of our member's reservations. Beachfront locations are by request only and not guaranteed. This is stated clearly in the contract Mrs. Alexander signed - "reservation request shall be an area and not resort specific". Also in the consumer questionaire signed by Mrs Alexander members acknowledge that they have received a copy of the contract and that they understand the purchase agreement. We received no complaint about the resort after Mrs. Alexanders stay so she must have had a great time!. Also if a member does not travel and cancels in time monies stay on their account for future travel.
We work hard to keep our members happy and take offense in the above comment about not trying to accommodate individuals.
