Hello to everyone who read this mail, and hoply is not riped off bill the company described.
several (4,5,6?)months ago i get a message i was the winner of a price, because i was the xxx.xxx.xxx. visitor of a website.

I filled in the data request and send it, no big deal.
i get called on 6-1-2005 by the company and had spoken with a girl / lady on the other side of the phone, and she tells me that i have won a trip to florida, orlando and to the bahama's and a lot more.

I listen to here speach, and when she asked me for my credit card details i told her not to give it by phone.
She said; thats a good thing, i am a creditcard user to, and i also would not give these important information by phone, thats why we are recorded this phone conversation as a "secure" backup for if there are any problems later.
I tell her that i still was not convinced, and she connects me to the general manager of security, his name was ALLAN KING.

he told me THE SAME things as the girl / lady before and asks me for my creditcard details again.
I asked them for a e-mail send to me and a security check of a website, so i can trace the reliability of the one who is asking my creditcard details.

at this point the conversation was getting "hard" an Allan was a bit of angry in his voice, like i don't trusted him.

i told him that if i not can pay by the internet, and via a secure site i wil not pay anything at all with my creditcard.

At this moment i thougt it was a nice offer, even when i payed for it, but my wife, yes she's the one with the brains, told me to asks some more from the company.
They tell you nothing, zero , nada, niets.
In the conversation they tell you with smooth words, that people are dumb if they don't take advantage of there offer, and there was the ringing bel for me.
I told ALLAN to put me of the list from the "WINNERS" and i discards the offer.

the only thing he answers was; so you don't wanne go on a holliday and pay?
I say NO, and he says THANKS.(and hangs up emidiatly). . . . . . .

lets call that a "saved by the bell" ;-)

DON'T EVER GIVE YOUR CREDITCARD DETAILS BY THE PHONE, IT IS NOT SECURE, AND A PHONE CAN BE TAPPED.

to all the one's who are not so lucky;
i wish you all the best.

regards, Edje
