was surfing internet on weekend, 31 August 2009 - up popped box - said was visitor 1 million - prize $1642 - enter details to claim - next screen then wanted more personal info - then screen showed holidays to purchase - there was in fact no prize money.
They now had me contact details and they phoned repeatedly daily to say i had booked a cruise/holiday and wanted financial details for payment.
I said that was not true, then continued to insist I had booked a cruise and they wanted payment.
I repeatedly asked them for their details and location and finally got their business name, and insisted on being transferred during that phone call to her superviser - who, after I loudly told him that I was notifying the federal authorities of their tactics - hung up on me, however, this may not be the end of it.
So I looked them up on the internet, and have included their web address - which shows a map of their location. Their street address is ALL SEASONS TRAVEL RESORT, 12421 N FLORIDA AVE, TAMPA FL, 33612-4271 USA. The phone reception was bad - difficult to understand their end of the conversation, but managed to have the first caller give me the owners name, 'Mary' - no surname was given even though I kept insisting information be given to me.
They kept on trying to control the conversation, and repeating their requests for payment, and I kept saying back to them that I wanted answers to my questions. Heated conversation, they were very demanding in their requests. To those reading this report - be extremely careful - they were wanting my credit card and financial details - yet I was still not getting any answers as to how this went from my being (supposedly) the 1,000,000th visitor - I was not even at their web site, to their attempts to extort money out of me. And I still do not know if their harassing repeated daily phone calls are over.
