all star colision got an estimate before receiving insurance appraisel lood good ,gave permission to begin work. when i went to pick up vehicle the price was increased over a thousand dolars they said they had to follow insurance guidelines later the insurance was paid to me and my bank The shops original estimate was a little over 2K Their final was over 3K The insurance appraisel was 3500 Not knowing any better I spent the extra thousand or so thinking i hade a really good deal at the shop . BEFORE RECEIVING INSURANCE APPRAISEL I GOT AN ESTIMATE FOR REPAIR
IT LOOKED GOOD SO I GAVE PERMISSION TO BEGIN WORK.
THE SHOP ESTIMATE WAS A L;ITTLE OVER 2 THOUSAND
WHEN I WENT TO PICK UP THE VEHICLE IT WAS OVER 3 THOUSAND.
WHEN I QUESTION THI THEY SAID I HAD NOT FOLLOWED PROPER INSURANCE PROCEDURE AND THAT THEY HAD TO CHARGE ME ACCORDING TO THE APPRAISEL.
THERE WERE NO SUPPLEMENTS OR ADDITION TO THE ORIGINAL
tHE INSURANCE PAID 3500 TO ME AND MY BANK I ASSUMED TO APPLY TO MY TRUCK AS I SAW NECESSARY THERFORE I SPENT THE EXTRE THINKING IT WAS MY GOOD FORTUNE . DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW THANKS.
