I am a former customer of Credit One Bank.  I would like to state for the record that their Compliance Attorney has no problem violating federal law by specifically falsly reporting information to credit bureaus in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Should you find yourself in the same boat as a consumer of Credit One Bank, I advise you file complaints with the CFPB.gov, the State Bar of Nevada and your state, and the FTC.

If you were late in your payments, even if you made good on them at some later date, then you were indeed LATE and your payment record being reported that way is correct and proper.  If, on the other hand, there is blatantly wrong information being reported, you have the right to have the credit bureau investigate it then they, under law, must remove the information.  The three major credit bureaus have steps to go thru to report what you think is incorrect information.  Check their websites and follow through.
