Complaint Review: Allegiance Cable TV

We move into the housing authorty in sept 2008 had them bring a box so could get the extra channels besides the basic cable. When the service man showed up to install he reeked of the smell of Whiskey. We ask for him to call before he comes,but he will just show up.

We can be setting and watching a movie and it will start messing up so can not watch the movie.When the cable goes out it takes more than 3 people that report it or you have to wait till the next day tech will be in town, I called every day for a month to get him out here and was told by the cable company that he did not leave until all his work orders where done.

Finally told them that if he was not here this week they could come get all of there stuff, we live in low income housing and the basic cable is included on our rent. That brings up another problem with this company, we pay basic cable when we pay rent, well they where charging us again for the basic. Had to get Rick the guy that runs this place to call them and explain to them we paid basic as part of the rent.

But all they would have had to do was look up our address and could have seen that it was under contract, just like the hospital there is one price paid for the cable. Not a different price for each room.
