Complaint Review: Allegiance Volleyball

the fact that you are saying these things about Sean & Jen are very offending to me and really pisses me off. Sean & Jen are amazing people and by far at the best coaches I have ever had. I started playing for them last season and I am a whole new player bc they have worked in me so much. You are obviously a parent who can't get away from drama and just wants to be so caught up in it. there's no reason you should be posting this rude report. it's one thing to state your opinion on the club but it's another to make accusations & rumors. Really?!?! other things being smoked and taken?! un-freaking believable. you are very immature and need to grow up. If there's one thing I know about Sean & Jen, it's that they do NOT put up with b******* and drama. so the fact that you're saying that there's a lot of drama is ridiculous. the only reason there's drama is because of parents like you. and you get that at every club you go too. Allegiance is a club that makes you feel comfortable and at home. the coaches joke around with you and have fun but also know when it's time to get serious. in no way do they humiliate you and make you feel worthless and no good. do you want your daughter in the YMCA?! this is club ball and the coaches are going to yell when ur daughter messes up. obviously you're no good for this club anyways. 

You must not know Sean and Jenn, these two coaches would give you the shirt off their back to help someone, and are great people and coaches. my daughter has been playing at AVB for a coiuple of seasons and we have seen nothing but improvement. When Sean or Jenn tell my daughter she is doing something wrong, they are not yelling at her, they are being coaches. If they raise their voice and or seem like they are getting on to a girl or girls its either one of two things. they are acting up and not doing what they are supposed to be doing(not paying attention) or they see potential in your athlete and want her to do the best she can. As for tournaments, we have never been to a bad tournament. there has been tournaments that the girls could have played better, but NOT ONCE has the coaching staff at AVB ever "given up on the girls." If you are having a problem with AVB, maybe you should look at the player and not the coaches. The coaches can only do so much with a player that always acts up, doesnt pay attention and is not coachable and probably has a bad attitude. so before you go blaming AVB coaching staff, why dont you take a step back, and look around, or are you one of those parents who just drops their kid off and doesnt acually know what goes on during practice and you're just hearing your kids side. As for the coaches sitting down on the bench during a tournament, who cares if they sit down for a few minutes, when you leave a morning wave tournament, they still have an afternoon wave to go, so they are on their feet for sometimes 16-18 hours coaching 2 waves of tournaments. Dont they deserve a little rest?? Have you ever seen a college game, the head coach doesn"t get off the bench even durning time out 98% of the time. We have had nothing but good luck at AVB, and will be back next year, for another great season. Oh and one more thing, if you dont like the club, you should quit, that way you wont have to worry about any of this anymore. just my two cents.

I have been a player at this club since the day it opened. I have never seen any of this behavior you speak of from either coaches. Every coach has those moments when they are mad or frustrated with their teams. Yes, I have seen our coaches get upset and frustrated at the teams but only because they know the team is cabable of more then what they were giving on the court. THIS IS CALLED COACHING. These coaches will be the first to pat you on the back and tell you job well done when deserved.

Our players learn something new everyday when we are with our coaches. Whether we are on the court, bench or even bonding as a team. Here at this club we are one big family. Closer to any other club i have been with. I have improved and grown as a player and a person since i started playing for Allegiance.

About the fundraiser we held at Papa's, for one its also a restaurant not just a bar and it was during the day. Secondly we did that fundraiser to help rasie money for our tuition. Trashy coaches?? SHAME ON YOU.

Some of the coaches do smoke but only when we are on a water break. They do NOT take time away from our practice to do so. I dont think someones bad habits (because we all have them) should reflect if they are a good leader or not. If the coaches are over weight does that make them a bad leader because they should be on a diet. My coaches are too leaders in my eyes.

In regards to the kids, they do not interupt practice. I have never seen them stop a practice to attend to the kids. Yes, they run around at practice. They are children you shouldnt expect them to sit still and watch. The coaches do not expect ANYONE to babysit their kids for them. Most parents adore them, and bring them presents and candy.

There has been more then one coach on the benches but that is for morral support only. NOT TO COACH THE GIRLS. The coaches may state a suggestion but the players should only listen to their coach.

In regards to the cussing.. I have NEVER ever heard them do that. My coaches are too respectable to do so. If your daughter or (daughters) is not improving then you should ask the coaches if you can have a private for a more one on one experience. The coaches don't see everything that is going on so if your child is struggling with something then your daughter needs to address the situation herself and talk to the coaches. Ask as many questions as you can, trust me they will help you if you want it.

You should leave this club if this is how you feel. It will be your loss when you do. My coaches do everything possible for us girls. During school season they will come to our games and support us. Not what club coaches usually do. Like i said we are one big family and the last thing we need here is someone trying to break us apart. I will ALWAYS have my coaches back PERIOD, and so does the majority of the club. I love my coaches and wouldn't want anyone else coaching me.  

Yes, all of this does sound crazy as you put it. But what I've said is Very True. Im just here to let everyone know that this is one of the best volleyball clubs in Montgomery County! You will NOT waste your money here. I hope this helps the new comers looking to join a volleyball club.

These accusations of my club are absurd. For you to sit there and make assumptions about something you have obviously no idea as to what you are talking about.

If you really had a problem, you would have come to myself in the first place and we could have discussed whatever "issues" you say you have.

Instead you are hidin behind a user name on a website and destroying your daughter's future.

As to the seniors getting college scholarships, 100% of our seniors are either in college playing volleyball due to us assisting them in scholarships or by choosing not to accept the scholarship offers and going to the college of their choice (which has only been one player).

If you really thought our club was this bad then why have you stayed for at least 2 years? You say your "daughter's" both play for us and will be moving on after this season..... We only have 3 sets of sisters that are at my club. 2 are seniors and will be going to college next year. So that leaves 2 sets of sisters to decide on where this is coming from.

However in your second post you stated "Applauding you for the assumption of what team my daughter is on" and then throughout your post you state daughter several more times, it is obvious you have lied about this also.

If you really had these problems, why would this be the first time I am hearing of these?

As for the donations of water, they are for the players during practice. We do not take them home! That would just not be right!

As for the donations of concessions for the tournaments we host, the proceeds from that go to players in need of financial assistance. Wouldn't you want assistance if your daughter(s) really wanted play but you just couldn't completely afford it?

There is obviuosly some underlying issues that you have with something else and now are taking it out on my club.

Please come talk to me to clear this situation up and so we can move on from it.

Applauding you for the assumption of what team my daughter is on. Sadly, you're blaming the wrong team. Obviously parents know other parents throughout the different teams. You continue to expose your true colors by acting as if you're someone else writing this rebuttal on the Rip Off Report. With outright disgust it's sad that you continue to create massive drama in this organization by putting blame on whom you assume it is.

Donating the food was not to provide another child with assistance/sponsorship. YOU KNOW THAT! If so you know there would not be any complaining.

For your information the power being shut off was never talking about spike sport, we have never seen power out at any other facility. It was your very own facility that has not had power on several different occasions due to lack of pmt. coming from a witness.

All of the complaints are true and valid. Several unafraid parents have put forth effort to communicate with both of you in a professional manner about smoking, cussing, and all inappropriate behavior. Refusing to listen to our concerns and see the truth it takes a review to get your attention. Sadly it does have to remain anonymous to protect the girls and the teams. Otherwise my daughter will be singled out, embarrassed, humiliated, or anything else that could make her suffer and destroy her more. We choose to stay because it's for her TEAM. Regardless what you choose to exhibit there is no "I" in TEAM

You express that 100% of your seniors signed to a collage. Truthfully in the last 4yrs I have not seen that.

I will say that you do have the ability to be a good coach. As far as right now a good coach, no I'm sorry you are not. It's not being judgmental it's your running a facility for youth, and understanding the importance of what leadership is.

With that I will say we all live in the United States Of America and have the right of freedom of speech, as you do. What shocks me is the lack of remorse and the immaturity coming from you all. As fun or as cute you thought you were being, you have exhibited your inability to think about your actions that now have affected your club as a whole. Receiving or giving some compassion every now and then does not hurt. However, you both can deal with your negative emotions just cause someone wanted to voice their opinion.

Also as to the lights turned off, why are you making jen and sean responible for the lights being turned off at the spike sport tournaments. You are just making stuff up because you are angry that your daughter does not get enough playing time, obviously you're the type of parent that lets your child do anything with consequences and its ALWAYS someone else's fault. Those children grow up to be unliked adults and tyoically jobless. Maybe you should search within yourself. To make up lies to make someone else look bad is highschool behavior.  

Like I said before, if your complaints and accusations held any truth, you would have no problem presenting them to jen. But of course you are not going to talk to her about lies you have made up. Obviously jen is a great coach if your team wins all the time. I think you should get some help from a professional to try and figure out why you must lie to ruin other people. That is a serious issue, be careful karmah is real tragedy for people like you. So good luck in life, I wish your daughter the best because with parents like you, she is going to need a lot of strength to over come the damage you are giving her. Poor thing, I wish I could hug her bc you will ruin experiences for her

Why would a parent complain that their daughters team is so good that they win all the time? Obviously if you are winning your daughter is improving. When the club asks you to donate food, its so they can use all of the profit to sponsor a child. Really...you are complaining about that. If you even had valid complaints you wouldn't be afraid to approach the coach about it. Its people that make up stories and lies that anonymously complain on the internet.

If you truly felt that the coaches were doing drugs you wouldn't "finish out the season" if your complaints were not complete and utter lies you would talk to to the coaches about them. So the only ripoff is you. Jen is one of the best coaches out there! For the last 7 years she has had 100% of her seniors signed to college on a volleyball scholarship. To me that's pretty dang good. So get off your high horse and get a grip. People like you ruin lifes all in the name of drama.

 You are awfully judgmental. Remind us all when it was that you attained perfection?? Oh thats right YOURE NOT PERFECT.  When you point the finger to accuse an individual there are 3 pointing back at you. Perhaps YOU need to address YOUR imperfections BEFORE you take the time to post about others. You are familiar with the Pot calling the Kettle black are you not??

Who exactly are you to sit in judgment over how another lives their life? If they chose to smoke, then it is on them. NOT YOU!!! THEY are the ones who will have to live with that choice. You accuse them with no proof OTHER then your tin foil hat ramblings. One wonders how you would fair if YOUR life was put under the microscope.

This is not a ripoff. This is some busybody who has nothing better to do then sit in judgment of others. Did you ever think your little band of vollyballers is not GOOD ENOUGH to face more experienced teams. You accuse the coaches of not leading by example, yet im sure that in your own life you fail your own children by not leading by example. Everytime you pick up that cellphone while driving. Everytime YOU have a double standard, you fail them. So instead of sitting in judgment, perhaps YOU should learn how to deal with your fellow HUMANS. YOU ARE NOT GOD!!!

Did you ever think to bring their smoking in front of the kids as a TALKING POINT?? No YOU probably did not. YOURE too much of a busy body to have skill sets that include tact or diplomacy. No YOU probably blasted them because your poor PRECIOUS child had to walk through some tobacco smoke.

This is not a ripoff or scam. Them asking for support from the players parents is not a scam. Things cost more. The PITANCE that you put down so your daughter can whack a ball doesnt cover EVERYTHING. If this is too much for you to handle perhaps you need to take your daughter out of sports. Because until you make MILLIONS, the team will ALWAYS need help. Its YOUR community, YOU are expected to help out.
