Complaint Review: allegiant van lines

I hired these people to move me from phoenix arizona to Newberg Oregon. Contact started with a sales rep named Sebastian. I went room to room with him, over the phone and told him everything that was in each room down to bathroom items. I then went to my storage unit and gave an item by item description of what was in there as well. 

He gave me a contract of 1800.00 which I signed electronically. He then required a 600 dollar deposit, which I gave. This was in March of 2013. My move date was 5/28/2013. At the end of April I had not heard word one from this company. I started calling and calling. No return call. I finally left a message threatening to have the local police in Eugene go over and have a chat with them. I finally recieved a call from Julian who claimed to be a supervisor. He told me that Sebastian had quit due to personal reasons and he had no clue where my contract was and that he would have to call me back. 2 hours later I get a call that he found my contract and not to worry that the dispatch would email me a week prior to the move date.  A week prior no calls.. I start calling. no return calls. The day the truck was suppose to be there no truck.. I start calling no return calls. I email this Julian and he sent me an all caps email that the truck was on its way and to calm the F@@k down.. 

I waited and waited no truck. I start calling every number I can get my hands on and finally someone named Shannon answers. very sympathetic. Oh I will get you a truck. Then I get a call from this guy named ALEX and he says he will be there the next day. I told him he was suppose to be here that day and I had to be out of my condo.  He said no way not going to happen. So, we waited. @ 6;00 that night these men call claiming to work for allegiant and said they were on their way to get my stuff.  They showed up in a rented Ryder truck and started loading my stuff. Half way through loading this ALEX guy shows up and starts screaming at me. he stated he would not take my load unless I signed a new contract and he ripped up the original contract I had with SeBastian. what he didn't realize I had the original on my computer that was emailed to me. I asked for full insurance on the load and he said no, we don't offer that to anyone, we don't have to all we have to offer is .60 cents a pound for recovery if lost, stolen or damaged. That is all that was required by the DOT. I took pictures of the license plate of the truck they loaded my stuff, I took pictures of them loading my stuff.  They didn't finish loading the truck til the next morning. They took my things supposedly to weigh the truck. When I got to the weigh station I took pictures of the license plates again. They were not the same plates that was on the truck the night before.  They threatened to throw my stuff out onto the street if I didn't give them 1,700 more dollars.  They would not take cards or checks.. cash only. 

they told me my stuff would be there in 3-5 days..I called and called looking for my load.. no return calls. Alicia Glenn.. Green depending on what day it is.. called and told me that my load was lost. for over a week no one knew where my load was.. I was hysterical. I started investigating further and found out that ALEX had been kicked out of Arizona in 2010 for steallng loads and was told not to do business there. He is the one who took my load. I contacted the Arizona DOT and they are hunting him like the dog he is. It will give me great pleasure in assisting them on their mission. 

 I didn't recieve my load til late at night on June 17 2013 the police met the driver of the truck and red tagged it.. there was only a portion of my load on that truck.. 45 boxes were missing.. my clothes, camping gear, yard equipment, cookware, bakeware, stemware, baby books baby clothes, pictures, graduation pictures, chef knives, my dog's ashes.. (I had him cremated).. things that I cannot replace.. antique cookware, stoneware, spices from all over the world. and the list is still growing. Alicia is a crook, a liar, a thief, and a flat out rotten waste of precious air .. She pretended to be helping me stating she flew to phoenix to check my load, she EVEN stated to me that all my stuff was not there. then lied about it later.. I contacted the local tv station who found an empty warehouse that is suppose to be the address of this company, the owner of the warehouse states he is suing them.. then she proceeds to tell the tv station that Allegiant was going to sue me because I refused to pay them the remaining 1895 on the load that I never recieved...

There is 23 active complaints with the Federal DOT against this company, they do not have a legitimate address, they do not own thier own trucks, they rent tractor trailors and hire guys with no CDL, none of them are legal citizens, most of them have warrants out for their arrest. They don't even use their own names.. oh and the Sherry that took my calls when my load was lost for a week who stated that 'IT'S MY FIRST DAY" it was not her first day she is Amy Theismann's mother!

.. DO NOT for any reason use this company. For that matter, do not use any moving company without calling your local DOT office or better yet call the federal DOT office in washington DC.. they will tell you who you can and cannot trust to put your whole life in their hands, your precious memories are worth it.  I will not stop hunting these people down until they are resting in a grey bar hotel.  I plan to be prison pen pals with them actually.. sending my picture to them on a weekly basis reminding them who put them there.  I cannot replace some of the things they stole from me, but I will be compensated both financially and emotionally one way or another. I will stop until I find each and everyone of them.. one of them is Joe Theismann's daughter Amy Theismann she is an officer in this scam. They have changed names many many times to avoid prosecution.  But the walls are caving in you little witch.. and I want you to see my face as they slam the door and throw away the key.
