Allen Construction ripoff - No License, No Insurance, Crummy work, FRAUD! Ripoff! Stratford Connecticut
My credit card was fraudulent charged $7,000.00 by the Allen Construction company of Bridgeport, CT. I discovered than that on October 28 he charged my credit card for a payment of $7,000.00. This was un-authorized by me and it was a fraudulent charge. I can only assume that he kept my credit card number on file from the previous smaller roofing job which he performed.
I or my wife DID NOT provide him with any credit card information during the signing of the contract.
We have never signed any charge card draft.
We never signed anything with respects to use of any credit cards.
We were totally unaware that he had our credit card number still on his files.
GETTING CHARGED FOR WORK NOT PERFORMED...
I have heard many horrific stories about people that have been robbed in similar transactions like this, but never though that I would be joining the statistics. Allen Construction is no longer to be trusted and he is openly lying and attempting to steal this money. Even the Connecticut BBB suggested that I contact our local Consumer Protection Agency against Allen because of many other complaints on their files.
Complaints have been made about him to the Connecticut Dept. of consumer protection. Additional complaint to state attorney general Blumenthal.
The BBB office wants nothing to do with this guy either. He is a thief, crook, and a robber - STAY CLEAR OF HIM! It's amazing how the state of Connecticut allows him to still operate!

Only a thief would call someone a thief, Mr. Lou gave us his credit card for his last payment and had his whole house completed. We did the roof and siding for this loser and dead beat of a person. Mr. Louis total project was 21,000 dollars. In which the $7000.00 was the last third of his payment. He bragged about how rich he was and promised payment. Mr Louis found a scratch on his siding and said he didnt want to pay. and then tried to back charge the other 14k. i was young in buisness and he thought he could take advantage of a young person trying to make it . If you look up Allen Construction On the BBB we have a AAA rating . and no complaints.
i wish i would have seen this a long time ago. His wife dont like him and his kids dont visit. That will tell you what kind of person he is .
