We contracted with Robert Allen of Allen Design Associates to do multiple projects. Robert breached both contracts, did not pay his sub-contractors, did sub standard work and walked on both jobs after being overpaid for % completed on the job.

Robert Allen is a good salesman but very disorganized and did not accurately estimate our projects. We attempted to work with Robert to keep him on track but he quickly pulled funds from our job to pay for previous jobs and covered it up by hiring unlicensed workers and then not paying them. There have been numerous liens filed although he had lien waivers signed.

Robert's subs are mostly from out the city and county due to the fact that his reputation within the city is bad and he has a history of judgements and non payment to subs and trades. Our properties were left unlocked and he was absent during most of the construction. We were esentially blackmailed to pay him for work even though it did not meet the % of completion surveyed by and independent source or he would walk from the job. He threatened to walk on numerous occasions and ultimately did walk when we would no longer fund. He did not get CO on either project and failed numerous inspections. I advise  you to use extreme caution while considering using this contarctor and do research.

Allen Design Associates, Inc. refutes this rip off report due to the fact that Allen Design has never done business with "Tim". If the report is from a competitor, then this is an unethical way to do business. If this report is from a client, and all facts are true, why did you not reveal your true identity?
