I was contacted by Allen Marketing Group to take advantage of a 4 day/3 night "special" promotion for $119 at select locations, with the understanding I would attend a 90 minute presentation. Also included in the package was a 8 day/7 night trip and $100 Dining Dollars which I would receive after the presentation.  Once the sales person finshed with explaining the terms, I asked "if there were any other fees I need to be made aware of" and her reply was "no". Based on the information she communicated, I agreed to move forward with the purchase. The sale's person explained I would receive an email and a "packet" in regards to my purchase, in which I had 14 days to cancel to be refunded.

About a month went by and I did not receive an email or a packet via postal mail, so I called the compnay back inquiring about the information. The sales person I spoke with was extremely rude and insisted they had sent me the information. i explained to her I didn't receive anything in regards and was wondering if they can send it to me.

Fast forward a few weeks later and I decided to reach out to the company to book dates for the promotion. Then is when I was informed I needed to pay a premium on the room, as well as taxes and resort fees. The sales person could not tell me the resort fees for any of the hotels, nor could he tell my the taxes. I also asked about the location of the presentation and he didn't have much information to give in regards to that matter as well. He also explained it could take up to 2 weeks to confirm hotel reservation and then someone would contact me about the presentation date and time. I explained to the gentleman I was uncomfortable moving forward becasue all the information was not disclosed to me when I initially purchased the promotion and therefore, I requested a refund. He agreed to waive the room premium if I would move forward, so I accepted. Four days later I receive a phone call from the sales team informing me my dates requested was not available so I would need to choose other dates. I explained this was already misleading and more of a headache than what it was worth and I wanted my money refunded. The sales person said I could not be refunded becasue it was outside the 14 day policy and I had up to 3 years to take advantage of the promotion I purchased. I requested to speak with a manager/supervisor in regards and she said there isn't one available. I mentioned to the sale's person I would be contacting my bank to dispute the charges and thats exactly what I plan to do.

If it's too good to be true, chanes are it is. These people falsely advertised a vacation packet and then make it difficult to book a stay at any of the provided location. They are very misleading and dishonest.
