We used Alleviate Van lines aka All American Moving when relocating our business. They sent plenty of great references. When they showed up, the manager looked experienced but the two workers were a bit older and had no clue what they were doing. To me, it looked as if they picked the men up in front of home depot.

They did not want to have our office desk taken apart and began to move them out. In the process the first desk was broken beyond repair. They then decide it is a good idea to break down the desks. They did lose some of the screws at that! They simply left the broken desk right next to the enterance of the building we were moving out of and left their moving blankets as well. We then get a notice from the building that we are getting charged to dispose of the broken desk!

We spoke to Angie Mullen, customer support manager, and Lydia Sanchez of the claims department and was told to submit the necessary paperwork, which we did. Well after hearing from them "the check is in the mail" to "accounting is closed due to a Jewish holiday" we reported them to the BBB. Angie did respond stating they have no problem paying us and to call them. We did but she was never there. We then received a letter stating "sorry for our loss; thanks for being so patient you will get compensated but due to the economy being the way ti is therefore we had to make serveral changes and putting the claims on hold was one of them"

End of story, we are out a desk and had to pay to get the broken desk removed and the company just disappeared; now located in the East Coast.
