Complaint Review: Allgood Plumbing

So, I had an issue with my sump pump in my basement ... being a sales guy and not a plumber, I really did not want to mess with it.  So I called this company. Said their guy would be there the next morning between 8 am and noon ... would receive a call one hour before he arrived.  Call received at 8:20 ... he shows at 10:20!  Strike one.  He comes in and I start telling him about what happened ... I said I "think" it might be the sump pump ... he stands there and says "Yep, $1185".  WHAT?  You're not even going to to see if that's the problem ... when I said I thought that was too much ... he said ... "Then how do you want to pay the $39, check or credit card.?"  I wrote the check and sent him out the door!  I took off the cover, plundered through the water, found the float and switch on the ejection pump, pushed it ... it engaged.  Problem fixed.  Works like a new one.  Thanks YouTube.com.  Your videos are much more helpful and much more ethical than companies who want to screw you out of their hard earned money!  Stay away from this company.  The only thing this guy was good for for 30 years is cramming donuts in his mouth!
