Never, ever use this company.  Of all the ripoffs in the moving business, Alliance is by far the worst.  On the phone, they were sweet and gracious, but it was only a come-on.  First of all, they're not even a moving company!!!  They are just brokers, and sell your job to the first bogus company that responds.  The company that handled by big move from NYC to Atlanta were, "Always Affordable Moving Services," a Russian scam, designed to make the same promises to you as Alliance to part you from your hard earned money.  Let me explain.

The nice fellow on the phone (a baldfaced liar named "Daniel"), promised me the moon, telling me that my things would arrive as promised, on October the 7th.  When I arrived on that date, there was no truck, no nothing.  When I tried to contact 'Always Affordable' (his name was phony, just like the rest of their operation), he stopped taking my calls, and seeing my caller ID, never picked up.  When I called Alliance, who brokered the deal, I was confronted by the biggest pack of liars I've ever encountered, starting with a woman named, 'Vanessa," who had some "bad news" for me.  Not only had my things not been delivered, but they were still sitting in a New Jersey warehouse, with no delivery date set at al!!  What she said next beggared the imagination.  "It was your fault for not reading the find print!  We have a FULL MONTH to deliver your things."  So for a full week, I slept on the bare hardwood floor of my empty apartment, with just the clothes on my back.  When this woman refused to help me, I was forced to call the New York Police Department, Fraud Section, where a Lt. Guptic made a "courtesy call" to this guy, asking where my stuff was, seeing as though I am 67-years old and living like a homeless man.  Even my toothbrush and heart medications were on that truck.  That put the fear of God into him, and 14 days later, living in the same clothes I had left NYC in, my things finally arrived, thanks to the efforts of New York's Finest.

How a a fraudulent company like this can exist, ripping off consumers every, single day, is a complete mystery to me.  I only wish I had seen the terrible reviews of this scam operation before I signed up, but their telephone representative was such as good liar, I believe him.  WRONG.  If you value your perrsonal possessions and your peace of mind, take my advice and learn from my huge mistake.  STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
