Complaint Review: Allianz Global Assistence

If you purchase travel insurance through United Air Lines through Allianz Glbal Assistence, you need to read all 21 pages of small print desribing coverage before you press the accept button. If you do you will find that the policy is worthless.

My flight from Pennsylvania to Treasure Cay Bahamas was delayed from 1/3/14 to 1/7/14 causing me to loose three nights of prepaid lodging at $300.00 a night and after waiting for 45 minutes to talk to a representative I was told that prepaid lodging did not qualify as "Trip interruption Protection"

Although the cost for the policy was only $47.90 I would have been better served to add the currancy to my wood stove for the BTU's generated
