Complaint Review: Allianz travel insurance and Priceline

Allianz travel insurance and Priceline Priceline and Allianz both refused to help with any expenses from 2 canceled trips.

We booked 2 different trips this year through Priceline and bought the Allianz travel insurance for both of them. 

The first trip was for our granddaughters wedding which got canceled. Priceline said they couldn't help us at all but that the insurance should pay. The insurance declined payment on our claim.

The second trip was canceled because we didn't know that my passport had to be valid 3 full months prior to the expiration date. Priceline has not done anything for us nor will the insurance again. 

We're out $3500 between the two trips.

 NONE of these third party reservation trash are of any value! NOTHING has changed in the travel business. YOU call and make the reservation DIRECTLY yourself with the air line, hotel or car rental place. How do you know YOUR money was not refunded to them and they are keeping it? YOU don't need ANY of these third party reservation places! YOU MAKE YOUR OWN RESERVATIONS DIRECTLY!!!
