Allied Barton Security Services Bad security company Discriminative to employees ripoff Los Colinas Texas
Been working for Allied Barton for one year. This is the worst security company I have ever worked for. For one Our account is constantly being accused of being racist. We are not racist and racisim is not tolerated at our post. We had to fire a Arabian guard because of his relationship with another guard. He went to the main office and said we were racist. 10 Guards all racist lol yea right. So the Human resources has a meeting with us calling us racist and racisim will not be tolerated any more comments she will escort us out herself. She didnt even have the common courtesy to have the Fired officer there face to face to talk about it.
Im sure his story would have changed real quick. We have had hell from this company since then. There smart elics when you try to get ahold of them if they are even there most of the time they are not. Something big happend in the company underground kinda thing. The district manager and vice president suddenly gave up there jobs when Allied suddenly merged with someother company. Not sure what happend but they just didnt give up there jobs from what i could get from the District manager although she would not tell any more. WE got this new guy named Tim Brown he is the area manager. Hes a real smart elic and comes out there griping about our uniforms being messed up. We told the H.R we needed new uniforms at the meeting and she said ok she will take care of it. Never got any nothing else said about them. Consistanly we have not had enough officers we are always short causing us to work overtime and have out account manager looked down upon for it and not get his bonuses all because of allied not hiring anyone. That is not his fault, i dont understand there thing.
Numerious officers that have relocated to the dallas Allied Barton have told me Allied in Flordia would not put up with anyone of the Dallas Office stuff. Its just terrible u know if we dont have enough on us pertecting a multi million dollar company we have to worry about all the company politics of Allied Barton. Also out of all the companies i have worked for Allied has the worst guards. Most are insubordinate and end up abandonint here post its just awful i hope out client will switch companies.

Welcome to the backstabbing, highly political world of private contract security where you had better stay only long enough to work your way through school and NOT make a career out of it!
And now I find that ALLIED SECURITY is being merged AGAIN! Don't think that you and your security crew will be at that post much longer, dude.
The warning signs are all there.
START LOOKING FOR ANOTHER JOB.
NOW!
Everybody is set to go, one way or the other.
If Allied loses that account you will NOT be asked to stay with the new company-- based on my experience with Allied. The new security company will bring in its own people and you, my friend, will be out on the street looking for work because Allied will NOT have a place to keep you.
(If a client is getting ready to dump your security company, you won't be hiring anybody else on.)
When I worked for Allied and posts went down --usually due to internal intrigue, security person malfeasance APPARENTLY deliberately tolerated to faciliate another security company's takeover --- nothing that the ordinary security personnel did --certain security persons who are not "connected" will find themselves OUT of work, not recommended for rehire with Allied (because they probably really won't have anyplace else to put you!) and having to go to another company and on and on and on.
THESE PEOPLE WILL TRY TO RUIN YOUR LIFE AND BLACKBALL YOU PERMANENTLY FROM EVERY PROFESSION THEY CAN THINK OF AND LIE ABOUT YOU BECAUSE THEY THINK IT IS FUN! I HAVE ONLY KNOWN ONE RETIRED MILITARY GUY WHO HAD THE GUTS AND THE MONEY TO RETAIN AN ATTORNEY AND HE WON BIG WHEN HE SUED ONE OF THESE SECURITY COMPANIES!
NOBODY SEEMS TO WANTS TO WORK FOR SECURITY COMPANIES ANYMORE! AND I DO MEAN NOBODY!
After the Hell that you are going through, CAN YOU BLAME THEM?
If we had had the Internet and Rip-Off Report back when I was looking for a job, I WOULD NOT HAVE WORKED FOR PRIVATE SECURITY CONTRACTING COMPANIES!
THERE WOULD BE NO PIMPS IF THERE WERE NO PEOPLE WILLING TO SELL THEMSELVES ON THE CORNER!
Not only do you have to worry about co-workers on your security post assignments backstabbing you and trying to make you look bad so they can get you fired and take the overtime pay but you have to worry about YOUR OWN SECURITY COMPANY EMPLOYER doing bad things to you. Security companies make money from the clients AND their already underinsured, underpaid flunkey employees.
GET OUT NOW!
Go to work for the Texas Department of Crimina Justice at the prison system! You will get to wear uniforms there, get benefits and have a lot better life than in PRIVATE CONTRACT SECURITY!
IF that's what you want to do.
Go be a REAL cop or a deputy sheriff or constable!
Go get a Level IV Bodyguard training certificate from the State and work with celebrities if you like.
Go be a bouncer for clubs.
GO JOIN THE MILITARY IF YOU WANT TO WEAR A UNIFORM! If you can survive the partisan politics and not get killed, you might retire after 15-20 years with pay and benefits.
GO IN-HOUSE IF YOU WANT TO DO PRIVATE SECURITY AND WORK FOR THE CLIENT DIRECTLY INSTEAD OF THROUGH A MIDDLEMAN LIKE A PRIVATE SECURITY COMPANY!
DO NOT WASTE ANOTHER MINUTE OF YOUR LIFE IN PRIVATE SECURITY OR YOU WILL SO LIVE TO REGRET IT!
Because you will spend the best and most productive years or your life living from paycheck to paycheck and jumping from sorry security company to sorry security company with no health insurance or retirement or ANYTHING to show for it! ( Don't even think about investing in one of their 401K plans because you won't be around long enough and they will figure out a way to scam you out of it!)
When I got hurt on the job through no fault on my own, there was NOBODY there for me. If it hasn't been for a State program, I would have been HOMELESS!
GET OUT NOW!
