My daughter co-signed for her younger sister to get a wireless phone because she lived with a paraplegic that she took care of. She married a marine became pregnant and her husband got sent for a second time to Iraq. She was unable to work and with all the violence in Iraq he would call her when he could get to a phone and let her know if was allright.

On their limited budget the phone bill ran up high and most of their money went for paying the bill. He returned early from Iraq because their little baby almost died at birth in fact the hospital had reported it as a still birth and never issure a birth certificate which was also a hassle to prove a life birth to the military to get her as a dependant. The baby was on life support from the moment she entered the world and was not able to eat for 7 days or her mother hold her.

They have tried to settle this account with AT&T but to no avail and now Allied won't even listen to a payment arrangement that allows them to settle not only the original amount but the any charges they have added to their bill.

I would like to know if it helps to write to the District Attorney of Ohio about Allied harrassment practices. Any input to teach this company better collection ethics would be appreciated.
