Allied Telephone Directories Yellow Pages misrepresented themselves using deceptive walking fingers logo, deceived me into signing for bogus listing, charging me $297 Jersey City New Jersey
Approximately six or seven months ago, I was sent a form from this company asking for my signature for a listing in the yellow pages. I had placed an ad in the AT&T yellow page book and I gave my signature believing that this was AT&T, because of their deceptive logo with the walking fingers.
This so-called yellow page service has been sending me statements for months saying that I owe them $297. When I received their first statement, I did a search on the internet looking for this company and found nothing.
I have just received a statement from them saying that I now owe them $594 for a new edition of which I have never agreed upon or signed for. This last statement that I have received from them is saying that they now have a website, called US-Yellow.com, with my listing. I believe that they have done this to make their business look legitimate.
I believe that this website is new and that the first $297 that they have charged me for was for a listing that never existed. They have misrepresented themselves to me and used deception to get my signature.
I believe, wholeheartedly, that I do not owe them a cent. I would like it if they would please stop sending me statements telling me that I owe them money.
