Allied Van Lines Morse Moving and Storage Quick to take your money refusal to ship your furniture. They don't care about your contract agreement. Romulus , Michigan
Have a signed contract with Allied Van Lines; AKA Morse Moving.Paid them in full. They showed up on time to pick everything up however when the time came to deliver the furniture, the refused saying they cant find anyone within their company willing to drive from Michigan to Alabama. And when they can find someone willing to drive my furniture to Alabama then I will receive my furniture. Despite them being outside of the time frame indicated on the contract.
After further research I have discovered that the REAL reason they wont deliver my furniture is because it is not cost effective for them to do so. The size of my shipment does not fill a full truck so they want to add someone else's shipment to mine in order to fill the truck to capacity. And despite failing to full fill their end of the contract, (i have fulfilled my end to the tune of 3,000.00. Which mind you only took them 3 days to collect), Me and my family are the ones left suffering. Living like squatters in an abandoned house.
When I indicated that I was going to pursue legal action against them the just laughed and told me to go ahead. After speaking to lawyers I understand why they were laughing. There is very little Legal action that can be taken despite their breech of contract that is actually affordable compared to the actual cost of the shipment. So my family are being held hostage in an empty home. No beds, little clothing, no cooking utensils, while they all go home every night to a fully furnished house spending my money living like kings.
