Complaint Review: ALlied Westheimer Transfer And Storage

We had a scheduled pickup for a move from Houston to Phoenix. The night prior to the pickup the driver called to confirm and said he would be there in the morning. The next morning, after we called the company

Then we found out that he wasn't driving to Phoenix. It was going to the storage unit. This was not the plan. We had specifically asked that it be a direct move so that we could arrange to have our 2000lb safe taken off of the truck. They were going to put it in storage until they found a truck to drive to Phoenix, some eight days later.

When we called to find our what was going on we were informed that they were just going to put it in storage and when they didn't show up the following Monday to deliver, they would just deal with our problem then. This is unacceptable behavior in any business. When a contract is signed to deliver on a certain date, they will deliver on that date. It is as simple as that. I will never use Allied Movers for anything again and will tell everyone about this "misunderstanding" so that others will not be subjegated to this experience also.
