Complaint Review: Alligatorpolo.com Also Known As How To Be A Playa.com

Like many people in todays world we use the internet quite a bit. And most have relied on using the net to purchase things. Believe it or not, I have NEVER had a problem ordering anything online since I owned a computer until now....

I came across a site by the name of Alligatorpolo.com, this online company stated they sold by men and women's polo shirts for under $40.00 a piece. Again, like most people we are attracted to deals and discounts. So, I though..'Why not?' I have never had a problem ordering online before so, I was sure this company would be legitimate.

Boy, was I in for the shock of my life. At first, I thought how great it was that they removed the money from my credit card imediately. (Because, again...I am thinking my merchandise would be sent as soon as possible!) Well, that was NOT TRUE AT ALL.

I discovered the week of the money being removed from my account was actually taken out by another company called, 'HOWTOBEAPLAYA.COM!!! Of course, red flags went off as soon as I saw the title of this company because somehow I just knew that something was not right about his transaction.

After sending several emails and even calling the number they enclosed on their site....(NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!) The only response I recieved from their company was emails sent from 2 people with 'Bogus names' one was 'Maria' which I am sure was so far from the truth...who kept responding to my emails that she would send my merchandise within 10 business days!

Ladies and Gentlemen, that order was placed in January of this year, 2006 and I just recieved....1 shirt (Which was the wrong size! I ordered 2 men's XL size....my package with no return address or sales reciept in the bag sent from the post office was a ladies size EXTRA SMALL!!!)

Again, I emailed them back...and yet again, the same 'Marie' responded with a 'So sorry about the inconvience, your order will be sent in 10 business days...)

That was WEEKS AGO....and STILL of course, you guessed it folks...NO SHIRTS HAVE ARRIVED and NO REFUND.

If anyone knows anything about this company. Please let me know. Because I would like to file a suit against them.

I'm certain their are others who have been scammed by this company. Let's do something about them or this person. This is illegal and bad business.
