I recieved a letter in the mail originating from Canada post. The company calls themselves the ALLIANCE RESEARCH AGENCY. They gave me a $3,850 dollar check to participate in a paid Consumer Research Program.

I am suppose to deposit the check in my bank account and then do two evaluations of companys for them with the money. The first evaluation was Western Union. I was to wire 3,350 of the check to Carlos Sanchez in Boston MA or Glen Harris in Boston MA. The second evalution was spending $100 at wal-mart. After evaluating I would fill out the form and sent it in.

For doing these two evaluations I would get to keep the remaining 400 for paid training. Before I deposit the check I am suppose to call Bob Walters to get started. The letter is signed by Dr. Steve Lewis, Director Human Resources.

I searched it online and none of the addresses match the company name. The bank name does match up however making it more believable. The check was issued by HANMI BANK in Los Angeles, California. Please be aware of this scam. I am sure had I deposited the check, my account would be cleaned out.
