Complaint Review: AllSat

I was solicited at home back in Dec. 2005.
AllSat had this promotion where you get the home theater sound system with DVD and one month free if you sign up for Dishnetwork service for two years.

I agree to the deal because I want that sound system.

So naturally, I was happy with cable but get it turn off then realize I cannot because I have high speed.

Ok long story short.

I sign the rebate form and do everything they tell me and wait two months no certificate for a DVD arrives. I call and they tell me that they are behind give it more time. I talked to Scott twice in the month of March on two separate occasions He just say wait.

Today I called and talked to Lindsey and she says it was denied because I was a former dish network subscriber and the offer is only open to new subscribers.

I am hot because no one ever said that until today.
They said that they did not know I was a former customer of Dish Network. Therefore, I called dish and told them, they acted all innocent and tell me that it is nothing they can do.

I should take it up with AllSAT
This is deceptive promotion and advertising and I no longer should be held to this contract for two years because I was miss informed.
