Allstate Insurance Company ripoff Paramus New Jersey
Auto of Accident Victim stolen by victim's auto insurance claims department. My vehicle was hit in a two vehicle accident on the NJ Garden State Parkway on December 03 2003. While I was in the hospital my former auto insurance provider Allstate Insurance Company stole the vehicle from the holding yard, kept my personal items, and sent the vehicle to a "chop shop" or auto auction in New Jersey.
Without provocation, or reason other than plain greed members of the claims department have a hustle where customers vehicles are "totalled", but quickly resold at high profit for the adjustors. The vehicle that was stolen from the lot only suffered relatively minor damage to the front fenders, and door panels was stolen, and its where abouts were found by investigation in a chop shop in Monmouth Cty., NJ over one month later. The title information was falsified by the claims department so as to obtain the title from the bank, and attempt to re-title the vehicle. The name of the owner (self) was falsified by some means, and submitted to the bank in exchange for title. The vehicle now sits somewhere in NJ, but is still registered in the name of the owner.
All of the medical bills generated by the hospital visit have not been paid. Additionally the hospital has contracted at least three credit collections agencies against me because the medical bills caused by this accident have not been paid since Dec 2003 to present. The insurance policy was for full comprehensive coverage however. I as driver have been on Allstate Ins. since 1991 to present without any infractions or accidents. This matter is under investigation by the Banking & Insurance Commissions of Del., NJ, and PA.
