Allstate Insurance Robbed all over again by Allstate chardon Ohio
After suffering a robbery of our home, Allstate all but slapped us in the face and basically we felt completely robbed again. 10K of items stolen, including a safe which held a diamond ring with an official appraisal which we had photos of. Not only did Allstate take 3 months to respond to the claim, they came back with a $354.00 check. It was literally surreal. They claimed we needed to list all our items with them or they are not covered. Also if someone is living there for 5 years with proof, but is not on the actual deed, then nothing they owned is covered at all!!! It was the most horrific experience to be violated and then to get completely violated again by the people you pay to protect you. The worst company ever, total scam. This whole ordeal has left me sick to my stomach.

So your mad because YOU failed to properly document the items YOU wished to be insured? Sounds to me that YOU failed here. Were YOU expecting that THEY would just believe YOU without proof?? That THEY would just give you however much YOU THINK the items stolen are valued at? Sorry but insurance doesnt work that way!!! AND YOU KNOW THIS!!!For years and years on television we have seen many many shows deal with insurance fraud. Everything from funny to tragic but there has ALWAYS been a underlaying theme about documenting what you wish to claim. Such as AL Bundy from married with children claiming her had a couple of wheels of cheese in his trunk when his vehicle was stolen. Or Homer Simpson claiming he had a Mona Lisa in his trunk. In each and every instance the insurance adjustor would ONLY pay on what had been documented. The point is YOU cannot say that YOU DIDNT KNOW as its something that has been used as a vehicle to entertain you. That the insurance company is some how at fault for YOUR FAILURE to properly document your possesions. THIS is NOT on THEM!!! YOU need to accept this because its YOUR FAILURE!!! To blame THEM for what YOU FAILED to do is just YOU WHINING!!! Sorry that you got robbed but THIS is not thier responsibility. Just hope and pray that the insurance company doesnt see YOUR POST!!! YOU have posted defamation about THEM and THAT is something there is a legal remedy for. With just a court order THEY can find out that YOU PERSONALLY wrote the defamation. So YOU would be getting hit a THIRD TIME but this one much like the second time is ALL on YOU! There are real life consequences for what YOU do online and YOU should REALLY be careful. It CAN cost you even more.
