My 2010 Mazda was hit on 9/16/15 by an Allstate insured. When Allstate asked where I was taking my car I let them know I was taking it to 3C body shop. The assigned claims handler said that was fine.  A week and 1/2 later the Allstate Adjuster called me to tell me they never cover or work with 3C as their repair costs are more than they would pay and that I would be responsible for any additional costs. I asked if I should take it somewhere else and at this point the adjuster told me I would be responsible for the car rental fees and storage that 3C would charge.  I asked why I wasn't told this by the claims handler. The adjuster said that the handler wouldn't know that.

I am a disabled veteran. I have major depression and anxiety disorder. I have not been able to get a job due to discrimination  and stigma people have against people with Mental Illness. I've had several jobs and was fired once the employer found out I had major depression.  Due to comments put on my OMVI record by Franklin County Municipal Court releasing information  that violates my rights under the Ada, I have not been able to get a job. I received the OMVI while trying to commit suicide due to my psychiatrist not puttung me on the right MEDS even though I told him my medicine wasn't working. Currently the VA is trying to work on getting disability through the military. I am single and have no income coming in and have been in this position since June. I advised the adjuster and a supervisor at Allstate that I had no $$ to pay and shouldn't have to since the accident wasn't my fault. He said then I shouldn't have taken it to 3 C.

I was just sent an email from both Allstate and 3C they cannot agree on the price so they will not proceed on the repairs so I would be responsible for the $5000 difference. It has been a month since my car was wrecked, I have no money, no job and Allstate wants me to figure out what I want to do. All I want is my car.  I'm about to be homeless and just can't handle another issue or losing my car.  I'm hoping you can help.

Thank you.
