Alltel ripoff Little Rock Arkansas
Alltel chargend us with 88 minute phone call to a German-Cellularphone. My girlfried made the phone call from my cellular phone, and it was only one Question to her Husband.
After I got my phone bill I found out, that Alltel chargend me with 88 minutes, Amount $ 227.59 plus $ 58.08 in Tax for that call. That means, they charge $ 2.59 per minute. (Sprint PCS offers the same business for 63 ct per minute.
I told the customer service that we never ever made a 88 minute phone call and they told me, that this line was busy over 88 minutes and that it takes Alltel a long time to connect a phonecall to a line in Germany. That is unbelievable. The connection was there right away.
I told the lady from the customer service that I would like to cancel the service with Alltel, but she told me, that I have to pay $ 200 for each phone, to cancel the contract before June 2003. Therefore I have to stick on Alltel.
