Allthehotkicks.com And Sneakerstreet.com Internet Scam Company Changed Names - Never Shipped Outstanding Order -Does Not Return Emails or Phonecalls - Scam Company Shalimar, Florida, Passaic, New Jersay Internet
Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this. It will hopefully save you the $100+ you were planning on spending on kicks on the internet by avoiding these two websites:
www.sneakerstreet.com and www.allthehotkicks.com
I will try to give the fairest, truthful account possible to give you an accurate representation of what has happened.
On 12/29/2005, I found the website sneakerstreet.com (also known as sneakerstreet). The site looked very clean and legit. It even had a customer service telephone line to speak with someone. I was under the impression that I would be able to purchase shoes safely through this website. I noticed that they only accepted money orders, but their faq assured me that they were professional, honest, and I would receive my shoes within 1-2 weeks after confirmation. My total was $144.96 for two pairs of shoes on their website that I had been looking for quite some time.
I thought I was being smart, and sent my payment with delivery confirmation as a money order through the mail.
This is when all the fun started.
I got really relaxed about my order and almost forgot about it. On 1/20/06, I received an email that said that both of the shoes I wanted were out of stock. I was really disappointed so I called their customer service line and asked for my money back.
Robert picked up the phone and said "I'm sorry sir, but we don't give refunds...It is against policy and you will have to pick out two new pairs."
I was very mad that they had these items still up on their website. I was able to convince Robert to promise me an additional pair for my troubles.
I finally got my tracking number for my order and I was excited. The site was legit. I got my order around 2/11/2006 and opened it up to find only one pair - and it was the wrong style!
I called them back to tell them and they told me not to worry, that I was to send it back and they would take care of everything with the other pairs that I wanted.
So I went to the post office and sent the shoes back overnight with confirmation. This was starting to get ridiculous.
As time went on I was getting worried so I would call over there over and over again to see the status of my order. Finally, I got a tracking number for my order. It was nearly MARCH!
When I finally got my package, again it only came with one of the three pairs that I ordered. I was really pissed.
Then next day I called them, and Robert picked up the phone and said
"I am sorry sir, It will get processed in the next few days but you will need to pick new pairs since the ones that were not shipped to you might be out of stock"
I reluctantly picked out two new pairs and waited. I waited and waited. I still did not hear anything.
This is where it gets really interesting.
On March 12, I went to sneakerstreet.com to notice that it was gone! It was now being redirected to allthehotkics.com (AKA All The Hot Kicks or allthehotkicks). I was really worried that the company that I was working with had just vanished.
I got to speak with Robert one more time and he assured me that he would be on the phone lines "Until every order was received by the customer."
That was the last I heard from them. Over the following two weeks, I called and called and called and emailed, and called, and called with no response. I knew my only option was to deal with allthehotkicks.com. I contacted allthehotkicks.com and requested the following reasonable information:
1. Sneakerstreet.com's non - po box address
2. Sneakerstreets telephone number (that they actually picked up)
3. The full name of the person that I would be speaking with over there.
No response. I tried again....no response.
After about 6 emails, they finally responded with this.
"Unfortunately the only contact information that we have is the information that is on their website."
Lets step back and consider what Ryan at allthehotkicks.com was saying. He was telling me that he had no other way of communicating with sneakerstreet.com. Hmm, it is funny. They have the same exact products, sneakerstreet.com now redirects to allthehotkicks.com. They are using the same drop shipper in china to do their orders and they must have had some sort of deal to get the redirect to their site.
He is telling me that he has no additional information.
I continued to bug them for the information, letting him know that I wanted no trouble, just my accurate order.
Nothing.
The bottom line is never deal with either of these companies:
sneakerstreet.com or allthehotkicks.com
They are obviously up to something only accepting money orders to a po box. Don't get screwed like me.
They may have a slick website with a great selection of products but STAY AWAY!
Only work with a company that
1. Takes credit cards or paypal
2. Has a non po-box address
3. A telephone number that matches.
You can also confirm a lot of this info by searching for reverse lookup on Google.
This all might seem crazy, but don't you want some recourse if your money disappears.
In conclusion, do not do business with sneakerstreet.com or allthehotkicks.com or whatever site it changes into in the months to come. They are up to no good and by dealing with them you will have hours of frustration and no product.
