Warning to buyers

This is a warning to buyers  of Bengals in Virginia and surrounding area. Bad breeder Allure Bengals cattery / Zachary Dunlap, Martinsville, Virginia. I Purchased a kitten from him during quarantine in August. I brought the new kitten home at 9 weeks he was extremely scared and did not eat for at least 5 days and very little water. I saw he had an abnormal walk once he finally began to venture out of his hiding spot on day 5 and took him to the vet because he wasn’t eating mainly but they also took xrays because of his walking abnormally and found he had a spinal Birth defect with two fused vertebrae.

I Immediately contacted the breeder to ask what had happened and he immediately responded he had “duck feet” and would be fine he has a queen that has a turned out foot that he breeds and he said she is fine. This is not a defect that happens in 5 days and you cannot see visually his leg turns and his spine and tail are crooked. This breeder knowingly breeds defective cats. His website also says he is TICA registered which when I called TICA has no listing for either name in their system. This breeder has made no good faith action to return any money or give me a new kitten (Which I wouldn’t want in fear of his breathing habits of not breeding another healthy kitten).
