Do not get suckered into working for this company. This is the best advice I can give to anyone.  I worked for this company for far too long and have seen way too much to have anyone exoerience any of it anymore.  So I used to be someone who said don't believe those people online for they are just bitter and don't believe in what we were doing at this company.  After awhile i ignored those people who interviewed and told me about the reviews but i was able to ignore it and overturn whatever they said.  It took me far too long to realize that all these people care about it themselves.  They actually had to move to New York from Lyndhurst NJ because the entire office in NJ quit due to not making any money.  Look up where both Allure and Maverick came from and it will say Lyndhurst NJ unless they erased that from the internet due to them trying to hide their shady ways.

First thing i want to say is ask about CLAWBACKS before you even start.  If you do not know what this means ou will surely understand soon.  Basically it means that when you make your commission on a sale if the client or owner doesnt feel like you did a good enough job they will take your money back from your check.  So basically you are working on a loan from your manager that you have to pay back.  So you either break even or make nothing working here.

I will not say anything about the working environment because you sign up for that and it is layed out from day one but from my ecperience prepare to stand around for hours during the day without getting paid.  As much as they say it is Base plus commission it is fully commission because if you dont make a sale they will not put you on roll call so you will not receive your base for that day.

The managers are some of the worst people in the world.  They will act like your best friend then stab you in the back the moment anything regarding money comes up.  This company works on the" I did this for you" "i paid for this" "i helped you out here" ways when nothing is ever in writing.  When you try to get paid for what you deserve you are always told something happened or that you owed the managers money so it was not going to be paid to you.

Stay away from this joke of a company for you will be wasting valuable time in building a career.  They will tell you that you are getting experiecne and learning new skills but in the real world this experience and skills mean nothing.  I have talked with current employers who say they do not credit anything that you say is learned form this company.  It simply is just a bunch of people putting ideas into your head that are not real.

Lastly do not believe the hype.  I know 100k in a year sounds great but it is not realistic.  I worked for over a year and seens many managers go out of business.  Maybe 5% of the owners make money the rest are scraping to get by.  Ask about business trips and why you are crammed 4 people into 1 cheap hotel room.  The majority of the offices are just getting by enough to call themselves "entrepreneurs" when in reality they are suckers who are running a dead end company makning no money.

Ask this company why they are now in New York.  Also ask them what happened to their last 5 offices in their org and the last 4 assistant managers they have had.  See if they will give you a straight answer about those poeple and the endless opportunity you have there.

Every office fails Dont believe the hype!!

My personal experience working at Allure Marketing Group has been nothing but postiive. The Managers are extremely helpful and definitely want nothing but success for their employees. It's definitely a challenging business to stay in and be successful in. There's a lot of friendly competition in the office, so having a tough skin is definitely a huge part of the business. After working here for many months, I've seen people come and go, mostly because they don't put in all the effort it takes to be the best. You have to be motivated, driven, have a great work ethic, be competitive and be extremely positive in order to succeed.
