Allwoodwings.com, Stuart Thomas, Stuart T. Company accepted payment via Paypal but has not delivered the merchandise and no longer responds to emails. Ordered 3/1/08 and last response was on 5/26. Internet

I ordered a wood airplane model and stand on 2/24/08 which was acknowledged and confirmed on 3/1/08 by Stuart Thomas at allwoodwings.com.

Stuart's confirmation said the following: "Sorry that you haven't received a confirmation of your order - it has been received and processed on March 1. Our offices were thrown into disarray on Feb 17th thanks to a fire and subsequent water damage. We've been catching up since and processing new orders was delayed. We are treating your order as a custom and the model/stand is being made from scratch. Please allow 8-10 weeks for production. We shall send approval photos of the finished model prior to shipping. Sincerely, Stuart Thomas"

I received no status within 10 weeks and inquired again on 5/20 and received the following reply: "Our order tracking system shows that the model was due for compeltion on May 15th. I have requested an update from our production manager to check status and will advise asap. Sincerely, Stuart T.

Multiple emails have gone unanswered since the 5/20 exchange and still have not received the merchandise. Paypal refused to accept a vendor complaint due to it being past their 45 day policy for refunds. I feel allwoodwings.com uses this policy to exploit customers by stating a "customer order" interval of 8-10 weeks, thereby scamming customers who have no recourse. Paypal still accepts payments on behalf of allwoodwings.com and will not accept a complaint against this so-called vendor.
