Complaint Review: Allyn Auction Company

I am a former employee of Allyn Auction Company, Inc.

I was selected to be assigned as an Operations Manager for 12 hour shifts, 5 days a week. 60 hours a week , payable weekly.

In December of 2005, the owner of the company, stated to me that during the last two weeks, I was late and not organized and that I will not be paid.

After careful research, I later found out that the company has a history of this and similiar offenses in the past both Civil and Criminal.

Recent Cases involve:
Larceny By Check over $250, Salem District Court, Salem, MA Mishandling of Auction Clients funds Essex Superior Court Case # ESCV2006-0131

Past violations of Allyn Auction Company, Inc. include employing individuals as cappers for the purpose of bidding up the price of goods with bona fide bidders for the purpose of encouraging bona fide bidders to purchase as in the City of Lynn Auction held at Lynn City Hall in April 2004.

Disposition of goods at auction without first exhibiting to prospective bidders all such goods. Eg. City of Haverhill Auction held at the Haverhill City Hall in 2005; where one parcel of land was removed and sold to a private bidder prior to the auction with notice to the public.
