Complaint Review: Almine Www.spiritualjourneys.com

All statements are true regarding Almine as a fraud. Went from mortal to immortal? Hahahahaha. She had a stroke. I worked in that house during workshops. Bunch of fools giving this woman money. I worked at one workshop and didn’t do it again.

Between her bulemic daughter acting like a nitwit around food and the older Almine’s outlandish stage performances, ridiculous play acting and complete cult-like techniques on ignorant people.....these "Almine’s” are nut jobs with pseudo-knowledge and total narcissists. The older Almine is checked out due to the stroke.....thank God she is done with her crackpot "spiritual” workshops that I don’t think actually got anyone to ascend.

It was cult stuff and the people who are here praising it are cult members. AVOID anyone with the name Almine. They will either take your money, want you to join their delusional cult or want you to take selfies with them. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

When dealing with this kind of topic it is very hard to explain to a beginner what is and what isn't going to happen. I had the pleasure of seeing almine speak for twenty dollars in sedona and to me for 20 bucks was a very interesting night. Now I know from my experience with this kind of work is that there is many factors one has to look at. First 99% of the people claiming to do what she does might at best give you a 3 day high I have seen maybe 2 people that actually do something and she is one of them and I do not call myself her student but I have found useful growth in her teachings during points I have been stuck. Secondly she is what is called a master or healers teacher which means that you should have some grasp and ability to keep up with her. By the ill focus of that email, I would say that this person has a lot of inner conflict and issues that they are not aware of and sometimes when someone like that goes to see a person like almine, the teachers energy can be to much for the tonal or frequency of the student and the student's mind will make up anything to keep the student from the much needed growth. The hardest thing for a student to really accept is that they aren't ready to be in this state they are shooting for. It is about growth for sure but its up to the student to do the work and if a master does get you to that place could you do it again on your own a week or month later. Another thing is that there are layers to be undone. if you are brand new and go to a seminar that is teaching advanced techniques, you will be lost. It is called foundation, one must have some to do this work. It is like the movie the matrix, until we see the truth we are part of the system.

What I believe is that these complainers have had a mr. smith moment where the matrix has basically tried to use them as mr. smith to pull the teacher down into the system. Frequency is frequency, it is sad to see people in pain. I have been there and I hated it and wanted help and I felt lost and alone because people weren't helping like I thought spiritual people should but I didn't know that the earth had this thing napolian hill describes as hypnotic rhythm. He describes it as a series of thoughts that are like notes on an instrument and eventually you get in the habit of playing a song and sometimes god has to be cruel to be kind and put us through hell to make us stop playing that song, there are certain teachers for every level and life has its lessons. I for one have enjoyed the soul downloaded information that I have recieved from her and that night in sedona was a very trippy night for 20 dollars but be ready for it because she is about change and ripping out who you think you are and tries to show you the truth and that isn't easy and who you think you are will fight to stay alive. I hope to find a teacher and really learn like her students because if you are going to learn this stuff you really need to jump in and not look back. If anything I could ask of almine I would ask to make it so a beginner that isn't used to her classes knows where to start with, foundation. Other wise I thank her for her information has been used by the infinite to explain problems that I needed to get through.

I have been working with Almine and have been to her home, a workshop in Sedona, and studying her books, classes and trainings with my sister for over three years now, and I am of sound mind and body. I am an intelligent person not prone to being sucked in by impostors. I am happy to say that everything I have gained from Almine has helped me grow in my personal life and in my relationships with the people in my life in a way that I could not have imagined.
I am grateful for her and am willing to see beyond what some may say is "strange", "different", or "drivel" to the gifts she shares with everyone to support their personal growth (if one can see the gifts of course).
I have spent one on one personal time with her more than once. I know her to be open, honest, in integrity, authentic, and yes, maybe a little different.  Definitely not a fraud.
If someone does not get what they are hoping for when they meet up with Almine, that's because they showed up with preconceived notions or ideas of what they "thought" they would get from her. She is not the typical teacher.  That being said, many incredible people have been attacked and criticized for being different.  That does not make them fake, disturbed, a drama-queen, wrong, or a fraud. It simply makes them stand out.
I find it very interesting and strange that this person in Ireland would attack Almine in such a way... I'm curious if they ever asked for their money back, or if they just decided to make such an attacking claim based on their feeling of loss, disconnect, or fear.  Not only that, they weren't even willing to write their name on this report. Fear will only get you more fear. I know for you peace, and I would be willing to bet that if you were willing to talk to Almine or her support team, you would be surprised at their willingness to communicate with you.
I have not only felt empowered and supported since working with Almine, I have been given a new confidence in my own gifts and abilities. I know I create my own reality, and my reality includes being supported by the choices I make. Not in blaming others for something I didn't like.

You must either be a serious born again Christian or one of those "religious" negative people who do not understand metaphysics. Your report sounds negative and negligent.

I just went to one of her workshops and after studying spiritual (not religious) matters for many years I must say she is one the cutting edge of information.Spiritual Journeys does not tell you that they are going to turn you into God-consciousness.It takes many lifetimes and a lot of hard work to do that and nowhere do they say she is the only person who has achieved that.Almine is a giving loving person who really cares about humanity and does all she can to teach whoever wants to learn uplifting information about many truths that are no available anywhere excepted from people who have achieved God-consciousness.A lot of these enlightened people like the gurus in India don't bother to teach, they have a lot of followers and all they do is be in bliss.She teaches those who really want to learn past the world of illusion.This is my first time experiencing Almine and I must say that her information was astounding and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Stop being so judgemental and open your mind.

I attended a workshop with Almine a little over 10 years ago. Her daughter Almine was there as a speaker too. The workshop was absolutely amazing! Very well put together and the information was incredible.  Everyone that participated was very happy to be there.  The workshop was one of the first steps taken toward the healing and understanding myself and my purpose here.  Some of it was "out there" but anything new can be met with skepticism and the things that I was skeptical about proved true with time. 

After the workshop I was on a cloud. Strangers were stopping me on the street just for a hug. Many people were telling me that they loved how they feel around me.  My energy was so high and I felt wonderful.  Whatever happened at that workshop has changed my life for the better, forever. So many questions were answered and seeds were planted that have grown into amazing beautiful plants. 

She is not a fake, phony or putting on a hoax in my opinion. Could it be that she is accessing information that most are not?  What has history shown us about people who share this type of information? 

The person who filed this complaint is obviously confused as Almine Sr. and Almine Jr. do look way different. They are different people!  Could anonymous be confused by the depth and content of this information, thus dismissing it as phony or made up? Probably.

It sounds like anonymous went into this with an expectation. The expectation that Almine was going to "fix" them. Its not possible to heal someone unless they truly desire healing and even then, they still have to do the work themselves. At least SOME of it!

Its unfortunate that many people are looking for some one to blame their lack of clarity and connection to God on.  Many don't want to go through the process of becoming conscious beings and expect some one else to do it for them. Sorry, not possible.

The attacks on Almine's personal appearance show the lack of awareness anonymous is experiencing. Judgment is a form of fear based thinking which isn't helpful for ANYONE. I hope anonymous is able to find people who are able to help them "wake up" from the illusion of separation and ego for everyone's sake, but especially for anonymous. It doesn't seem like a fun or healthy state to be in and from past experience, its not.

I left the workshop very empowered and and carry that with me still.  I offer up thanks to both Almine and her daughter Almine Barton. Their influence in my life has helped me in so many different ways and I am ever grateful for their presence on this planet.

i would like to state that my comments was taken out of context and looking at my comment once more provided with me with a sense of guilt, i would like to say that my comments towards almine was meant to defend her, i did not mean for it to seem so hurtful and negative, anybody who knows me knows i am a loving soul who will help anybody, even if those people do not want my help, i was born on this planet with a mission to try and birth this planet into the real, i believe i have done this and my suffering should end now, however i am still left with the trauma of my past, even though i know that i chose it, the pain still haunts me and makes me say things that i don't really mean, this consciousness has folowed me all my life and has left me with an addiction to smoking and an overwhelming sense of loss, this has resulted in me becoming "dysfunctional towards others"

however in regards to my comments regarding rogier chardet (an employee of almine) on the forum he has written the following

my perception tells me he was 100% referring to me.

i am neither of those things and it upsets me that somebody would have such opinions about me, it made me cry when my perception told me that rogier referred to me as parasitical (a parasite) i love all people regardless, i also love rogier and all associated with him, which is why i have so much trouble understanding why i am being victimised like this.

the mother has very recently informed me that rogier said those things in an attempt to try and inform me of what i can be at times and also inform others of certain rules "everything is a lesson or a gift" according to the infinite being.
however i have many abilities and one of them is being able to bounce back (which is why i came here) so i am going to bounce back at this moment and say the following.

I then found that I was blocked from emailing the spiritual journeys office, my guides informed me that I was blocked because I was being rude towards an associate of Almine, whom is Rogier, well my guides informed me that rogier took my message to him as rude because he doesnt understand the meaning of the words "what you send out comes back to you 3x3", i was reaching out to rogier for help as I have had quite a horrible and challenging life since being starseeded in to a terrible and abusive family, rogier knew this, but everytime i reached out to this dark soul he responded with dark comments, eventually after being emotionally beaten down by rogier i responded with " you have no right to call yourself an ascended master" , I have been elevated to a spiritual state of oracle as I always have been, many visions and miracles are becoming a common place for me right now thanks to almine, these visions are the reason why I am writing this comment.

I did ask Almine permission to post a response to the slander (which is defined as the utterance of false charges or misrepresentation which defame and damage another's reputation, which Almine's own response clearly illustrate the comments of Anonymous to be). After knowing both Almine & Paul personally, I can tell you that Paul himself is not that articulate & his response to Anonymous was very obviously dictated to him by Almine, as she dictates everything that needs to be written.

It is commendable that Anonymous had the gumption to speak their mind about this situation, as anybody who leaves Almine never speaks up because she is so quick to throw around words such as slander. My question for years has been: As a true spiritual leader, a Master, with such high consciousness, why be so concerned with reputation & money? Seems trivial to me.

There's a lot more that could be said, however, it's simply not worth anyone's time.

"I had not been aware of this acrimony until very recently because I am computer illiterate. This is the reason why we are addressing this matter to you now.

False statement 1: I recently attended the Almine--the so-called (by who?) herself mystical healer workshop where I was to experience first hand 'God Consciousness' and be elevated to ascended master state myself (if I wasn't already) and possibly be rejuvenated to a immortal state where I would begin to regenerate all my cells and help birth the new dawn of the new day on this planet or some such. For a mere 750 euros, its all yours!

Fact: The actual financial interaction with this person was as follows:
- This person attempted to obtain the workshop for free, claiming financial poverty
- Joe, the Irish organiser of the event, said that he would pay for this person's lodging and arrange a comfortable payment program that would suit her budget
- This person paid a deposit of 250 , promising to bring the rest of the money of the workshop on the morning of her arrival
- When there was an attempt to collect the remainder of the money promised on the first morning of the workshop, she didn't have it nor produced it on the second day
- Two nights at the airport bed and breakfast was paid for by Joe as a gift - the intention was to pay her lodging for the entire week
- She left after 2 full days of class - a value of 260
- Participants are responsible for paying their own food service which this person did not do. 25 for two days of food she consumed was paid by Joe on this person's behalf
- As an additional gift for participants in this workshop, certification in the healing modality of Belvaspata (see http://www.belvaspata.com) was gifted by the Belvaspata certified Masters to participants per my request. This was done after the class ended or during the lunch hour. This person therefore received free of charge certification in Belvaspata Level 1. This is a 200 value.

Fact: I have never said that I am "the only woman on the planet" in God-consciousness. I help others achieve the state of what I term God-consciousness.


False statement 4: "My idea of a master is an experience of peace, harmony, wisdom and humor and something that contributes to my growth. Almine acts like a drama-queen, a very disturbed individual and as for the immortal part, I have never seen someone so grotesquely botoxed up! She can't make any 'faces'. Peroxided long blonde hair, and a great bod (she was a practicing aerobics instuctor for years). Look up her old picture of Almine Barton--looking very different.

Fact: The falsehoods regarding Botox treatments and being an aerobic instructor (which is my 33-year old daughter who has the same name and has a website as an aerobic instructor) are easily proved to be false. Please see the website at http://www.imtacupuncture.com

False statement 5: What comes out of her mouth is beyond astounding in that you keep thinking-it will make sense! I paid money! I believed! Its pure drivel of imbecilic proportions, and furthermore, she says this truth could all change by tomorrow!!! And so much BE sure you get signed up for the next class and stay tuned FOR the next bit of stories about faires, unicorns, nasty tales of the Vatican (right out of Angels and Demons).

And it gets better. Almine's manic delivery speeds up at the long day goes on where she permits very little questioning or feedback, she is soooo starved for attention and in my opinion desperately devouring the super high energies of the attendees who were suckered into this ---so desperately wanting to believe in something outside of themselves. There was no empowering of others, only sagas of self-pity about all SHE has suffered, ad nauseam.
Fact: Throughout the whole class, this person never complained or addressed any concerns to me or Joe.


False statement 6 (as an Update): Update: I may have been wrong that she was an aerobics instructor, could have been her daughter. However since I wrote this, the website showing her old picture of her as an Indigenous medicine healer--looking very different--has been REMOVED. Scary!!

Fact: There has never been a photo of me as a native shaman. Our website has been recently updated and this is regularly done every few years. My photo that came off was part of the new design. Joe told me that he had to point out during their email exchange that the "old photos" of me were in fact my daughter who has dark hair.

Although we appreciate the intent of your organisation and website to promote fair trade practices, we also feel sure that you are interested in facts and not slaunder. There are many lectures publicly available on multiple sites at http://www.spiritualjourneys.com/study.php in which the empowerment of the individual and their ability to reach levels of god-consciousness are publicly promoted by me.

You state that your website is there to ascertain facts and give consumers a viable outlet for valid grievances. But slander, especially where it could potentially affect income, is not legal.

It is a sad thing when someone is so afraid of their own light that he or she feels the need to write something as far from the truth as this comment about Almine and her "workshops". For, generally, that person really has no idea why he or she is writing it. In this case in particular, it is much easier for any of Almine's hundreds of satisfied students (and satisfied is a truly inadequate word here) to see what the root of this person's frustration really is, than it is for him to see it himself. The problem is not the appearance of the teacher, claims that teacher made (or in fact never has, as the author would know had he read her books), or even how beyond astounding the information that teacher shares is.

The real problem is that this individual was guided to Almine's class in a different fashion than all the other participants were, all those many other participants who left with their lives changed for the better in a way they had never previously imagined, all those participants who came based on their desire to increase their perception and enhance life. This person was clearly not guided by such pure intention, but rather by an awareness that there was power present at such an event. For the enlightened are, indeed, truly powerful, but only due to their expanded perception.

When one seeks to increase his power without first increasing perception (whether one knows this is what he is doing or not), this person is entirely in his head and thus ruled by misconceptions and archaic belief systems which he holds on to there. When a person such as this enters the presence of a master such as Almine whose light is truly unlike anyone else's on Earth, they know in their hearts that they have been trapped in their own world of distortion and illusion, yet it is the most difficult thing for them to accept this at a conscious level as it would mean they must take responsibility for changing their own perceptions and attitude (and thus change their lives).

Instead, the anonymous author of this article has chosen that he would rather be a victim (because it feels easier to be a victim). And, this choice necessitates that he keep his mind busy with focus on anything that stood out as different, using it as fodder for his own frustration the louder he blares his anger outwards towards his experience, the less he has to deal with that nagging feeling of the anger he feels towards himself for not allowing the purity, love, wisdom, and shear magic which is always present at Almine's events to break down the prison walls of mediocrity and ignorance which he has built up around himself.

The positive side to all this scenario is that the author always has the choice to change and allow the necessary healing to occur. And also, when those unready for the massive healing and subsequent personal growth which Almine's events engender do attend, it gives those there who have chosen to step forward into their mastery a chance to practice compassionate understanding. Compassionate understanding, however, is an internal matter, certainly not necessarily one exclusive of the external action of asking such an individual to leave if he or she is not providing the appropriate respect for the teacher, sacred environment, and other participants.

To summarize my response to this person's comments, as we move into a new age, one long prophesized to be a most glorious one, there are those who build, necessitating some break down of the old, but there are also those who simply break down out of fear of the new. It is wise to learn how to discern between the two and helpful to keep in mind some famous words of the poet Rumi: Those who can't hear the beat of the drum think the dancer is mad.

Update: I may have been wrong that she was an aerobics instructor, could have been her daughter. However since I wrote this, the website showing her old picture of her as an Indigenous medicine healer--looking very different--has been REMOVED. Scary!!
