Almost Home-Rude Waitress and Ignorant Boss Natchitoches Louisiana
On January 9,2002 I was eating lunch with two co-workers and after not being waited on by anyone during the course of our meal,I asked a waitress to pleas re-fill my glass with un-sweet tea. I am diabetic and since the waitress did not acknowledge my request I ask her if the tea that she was about to pour truely was un-sweetened.
She rudely responded that "isn't that what it says." I commented that she was obviously having a bad day and that I would speak to the owner. She again rudely announced that she would bring the owner to me.
To make a long story short, the owner came over to the table informed me that I was wrong, agreed with the waitress who called me an idiot and then went on and on after I left about how wrong I was. I am sure that my race played a role in this blatant show of disrespect,however, I later learned that the same waitress had been rude to a Priest.What kind of business allows their customers to be insulted and disrespected without even an attempt at an explanation. Well, apparently this restaurant. Hopefully, this will not happen to anyone reading this report. Don't go to Almost Home!!!
