Complaint Review: Alpha Distribution INC.

The makers of this product is offering an 18 day trial, which you only have to pay the sipping cost on both bottles, which is 4.98 for both bottles Try Alpha-T and Alpha RIPPED absolutely free, just pay a small shipping and handling fee. Your credit card will be charged $4.98 for shipping & handling for a 1 Month Supply of Alpha-T (Retail Price: $89.99) and a 1 Month Supply of Alpha RIPPED (Retail Price: $89.99). You will have 18 days from your original order date to decide if Alpha-T and Alpha RIPPED is right for you. If you are enjoying Alpha-T and Alpha RIPPED do nothing and at the end of your 18 day trial period you will be charged the low rate of only $89.99 for each bottle you received, This is where there is a problem. My daughter ordered this for a friend and she called on 6/24th/2015 and was told that shey would have to pay the 89.99 per bottle once the 18 days was up, they would automatically charge her credit card, unless she sent the unused portion back, which she would have to pay shipping and a small restocking fee to send it back. This is what is stated in their refund policy

Alpha retains a total guarantee of customer satisfaction on all Alpha products. If you, the customer, are unhappy with the product for any reason, you can return the unused bottle for a full refund of the purchase price minus shipping and handling and minus a small restocking fee. To obtain your refund, you must do the following: Call us at 1-800-BE-ALPHA (United States & Canada). You will be given a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To receive your refund, your return must be received at our shipping facility within 30 days of purchase. Be sure to clearly write the return merchandise authorization (RMA) number on the outside of the package. Our shipping department is NOT allowed to accept any packages without an RMA number. You pay for return shipping.

This is I believe a scam. I called them for my daughter and told the agent on the phone that this is nothing short of a scam, since she already paid the 4.98 for the shipping already and that if she is expected to pay to have it shipped back and pay a restocking fee then it isn't actually free, because they are double dipping on the shipping and making money on the restocking fee! He then told me that for 9.98 a piece we could keep both bottles and they wouldn't charge her card after the 18 days the full purchase price. I have seen at least a dozen complaints on this company and wanted to turn them in myself.
